I got what was waiting right in front of me a year before you. I'm marrying the love of my life in August and I couldn't be more excited. You're the reason I know the difference between lust, and love. I was in love with the idea of you, and the ideas you put in my head. Burrowing the fact that I didn't love you, I loved him. Seeing him while we were together and just thinking about being with him; not you. Leaving you the first time and trying to make it work with Thadius, I should have continued but I let you talk your way into my head and I can't regret that enough. I hate you. You broke me. You shattered my being. But thanks to the most amazing person, I'm back. I'm happy. This is love.

I love the fact that my boyfriend and his best friend openly offered to let me watch pretty little liars because they found it online. I love the fact that my boyfriend even sings to me, sappy songs. They sound amazing, and wonderful. My heart melts. I love that I'm constantly smiling now, and I haven't had a moment of breakdown in weeks now. Who knew that someone I dated when I was sixteen would still be making me happy, and giving me butterflies two years later. And yet, they say that the one who you're with at sixteen won't matter. Everything that's happened in the past month, has honestly changed my life for the better. I'm in such a better mental state now, than I was. I am so incredibly blessed to have such a wonderful boyfriend and a few surprises coming our way. c:
