Adonia fought to hide a smirk, however a ghost of it was still present as her lips twitched upwards. She hadn’t been kidding when she had said she could do this all day, and she intended to make this as hard as possible for the woman. “Not boring at all, really.” She slowly rose her eyes up to stare at the blonde, amusement shining in her blue eyes. Now, she decided she would toy with her; she would talk, if that’s what Rita wanted, but she would hardly give anything valuable.. “See, I find reading to be quite amazing. So many different characters and stories to read about, it is really all spectacular to know that so many different things can come from the human mind.” As she purposely rambled, she lowered her eyes back down to her book. “I have a husband and a twin brother, dear. Nothing ever gets lonely.”
Rita had a talent of being able to read people like a book, and most certainly was not dumb to the girls little ‘game’. Instead, she decided to humour her, what un-amusement she felt being kept hidden as she painted her face with a look of interest. If Adonia believed she could irritate Rita with mindless chatter, then Rita would do the same. “That’s interesting of you to say so, and actually rather kind of you. As an author myself, I find your appreciation of our talents overwhelming ” Her tone was both mocking and arrogant, flashing a smile in Adonia’s direction. “Ah, your husband, that’s right... Where exactly is he? Surely you’re not having troubles already.”
