I like being big and small

You have learned to trust it, it's behavior towards you is as if it sees you as an equal, unlike your peers who seem cold, distant, and inhumane towards the new planet your species calls "new home".

These giant beings with their beautiful red skin and glowing eyes are pacifists in nature, but only a handful know that. The language barrier seems to be no issue, as they rarely use their vocals. Instead, most is spoken with body language and very simple gestures. You and a very small handful of scientists have set up a base near one of the "villages," with the sole purpose of studying, learning, and communicating with these red giants.

I always imagined her being a mother/grandmother to everyone, regularly taking in strays twice her size and raising them with love and care.

There was one stray in particular that I remember her taking in. A kitten, a black and white "tuxedo cat." Dont remember his name, but his personality was standoffish, rude, and defensive when he first met her, yet Misses Mouse loved him all the same.

He was actually the one that came to misses mouse for help, having left the big nitty-gritty city in search of the infamous mouse who took in any orphan no matter the size.
