A beautiful day begins with a beautiful mindset. When you wake up, take a second to think about what a privilege it is to simply be alive and healthy.

Isn’t it strange that we talk least about the things we think about most?

You’ll never be able to grow if you’re afraid to lose people during the process. Sometimes past relationships don’t belong in new seasons. In order to move up there’s some things you must be willing to give up.

Surround yourself with people who make you hungry for life, touch your heart, and nourish your soul.

Be the kind of person who isn’t afraid to ask someone if they are okay twice if they say they are, but look like they aren’t. Be the kind of person who smiles at people even if they don’t smile back. Be the kind of person you wished for when no one was there for you. Be the kind of person who is brave enough to stand alone in a crowd for what is right. Be that person because we need more people like that in the world. Be that person because people like that are rarer than the rarest diamonds and gold.

…and suddenly you know it’s time for new beginnings. Let go of the old, and make room for the new.

It’s so easy to get mired in the all too obvious cruelty of the world. It’s natural. But to really heal, we need to recognize the goodness too.

Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves.

When it comes to the past, everyone writes fiction.
