THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ANAKIN!

Palpatine is Anakin’s father. How it happened is unclear but he is a genetic match. We know he didn’t sleep with Shmi, so it was probably Force related. This is my default verse.

Deep Current was known for officialism and when this came to its limits there was still Ziv who had not grown up on Tynna and had not the natural love for bureaucracy as the rest of her species and was accordingly perfectly fit for more pragmatic manners to get informations for the resistance. The rebelsbase she delivered the imperial battleplans to was small, Ziv looked around for the superior. "Mast-" the woman only stared at the other in utter confusion "- kriffing Skywalker?!"

      Anakin did not spend a great deal of time at the established rebel bases. It was mostly a matter of practicality - he and Obi-Wan had the greatest bounties on their heads, and they were the best known among the rebels and the imps a like. When Obi-Wan was not with Padmé and the children, he was here, and when Anakin was not on the run, in charge of keeping supply lines open through their more dubious pirate associates, he was with Padmé. They were generals, of course, but their presence was not constant - there were many very capable people who had risen through the ranks of the rebel alliance and they led the charge. It didn’t make sense to have all of command in the same place at the same time, especially if something were to happen, if the base was to be found.

      If the cause were to lose both Skywalker and Kenobi at the same time, it was assumed it would not go well. Not for moral, especially. However, Anakin had his own reasons for being at the base this time, and once his business was complete, he had a long stretch of travel before him. He had not expected to see Ziv here, of all people. Many had been lost since the Purge. Not just active Jedi, but those who supported and sympathized with them, anyone with any connection to the Republic, with any lingering loyalties. He had not stopped to consider what might have become of everyone he had met in his long life as a Jedi, nor had he forgotten about the space otter. He recognized her immediately, and he lit up, stopping short in the hall. The woman he had been talking to noticed too late that he was no longer following her and she looked put out that the smaller creature had taken his attention, but Anakin didn’t seem to notice.
