""That gem!" The brilliancy of the gem burned into his retinas as Bakura remembered everything that happened last night. From his yami coming back, to running to the church, to the man wrapping his arms around him, with the same gem hanging from his neck.

Bakura gripped his head and dug his fingernails into his face as bells banged in his ears. The spirit was back. The spirit was back and he is after him. And someone else knows this, someone took him, someone bathed him. Something happened but he just couldn't remember.

Bakura grit his teeth and wrestled down a scream as he yanked the gem and wound up his arm to pelt it across the room.

But his arm froze, and his hand felt warm. The gem tickled his hand and sent millions of little sparks throughout his body. Bakura shivered at the sensation. His face slowly loosened as he cautiously examined the gem.

The gem was a vibrant, unworldly green. Its brightness burned his eyes and yet it made his irises throb in pleasure. The muscles in his hand relaxed, the warmth absorbing all the tension that ruminated in his body.

What was this gem? It couldn’t be an ordinary emerald. Why was it on top of the Millennium Ring? Were they connected somehow? Did the spirit have a hand in this."
