Hi tumblr! In case you didn't know, I run a very silly DnD-esq improv mystery show on Drawfee called Drawtectives! Here's the intro that me and @dilfosaur made for it that I'm very proud of. The way that it works is that I write the season / episodes before hand then make all of the main assets before we record, then we run it like a DnD campaign without the dice rolling or skill checks... or skills. The show is in it's 3rd season but you in NO way have to watch the other seasons to jump right in! Just join in and solve a mystery or two with this found family of lovable idiots all played by a... found family of lovable idiots (us the Drawfee team). Episode 1 of Midnight Alley can be found here and the playlist for the season can be found here! New episodes every month unless the baby arrives sooner than anticipated.

Spitballing with the fellas on discord and we've come up with a Star Trek character we want to see: A 200-year-old top Vulcan diplomat attending a function and laughing boisterously and slapping backs with everyone and then just relaxing into resting bitch face the moment nobody is watching him. He takes his job deadly seriously and studied parties extensively in the diplomatic academy. Every year he's brushing up on new developments in party theory. He knows every party nuance you could possibly think of, for the sake of intergalactic relations. Peace in the galaxy depends on it. It's weird but you gotta meet people where they're at, he thinks.

its been p common knowledge for decades that light pollution can be massively reduced by just putting shades on streetlamps, and that doing that would save energy, help wildlife, and let us see the stars better, but are society says if u wanna change any minor little tiny thing u gotta dedicate ur whole life to campaigning for it and this is a good ways down the list of priorities for most ppl, so instead i gotta walk past newly-installed streetlamps that are just dumb glass globes that use half their electricity to blast half their light directly into the sky where it does only bad things for no reason and think "we should overthrow the government"

pro tip if you're emailing city officials or representatives to do something about this, frame it as the massive waste of energy that it is.

"well (name) I just want to get some support for less wasteful streetlights, using all that energy to beam light into space (where there are no people) instead of concentrating it on sidewalks/streets (where there are people) is such a drain on our resources and money (things that government people care very very much about using/appearing to use effectively)" will go much much further than talking about the light pollution or wildlife impact aspects, as important as those should be
