I’ve been dabbling in riso printing! I’ve been trying to figure out how I can translate my soft digital style into a risograph by separating all the color channels. I have not printed them yet, so I have no idea if they’ll work ~ I still need to pick the final colors!

your art is so good, the people you draw are always so,, fluid? the opposite of stiff lol. it looks so nice!! how do you get it to look so natural?

unfortunately the answer to this is study and practice (or manifestation if you want to be lazy LMAO)

but to give more information, i use a lot of reference images varying from art i like, real people, "posing bases" like those from albenenchi and mellon_soup

i've also done a lot of irl live figure drawing of the nude body and often practice with adorka stock (highly recommend btw!!)

even tracing (for personal use to clarify) is a really great way to practice because it trains muscle memory

my ultimate hack for it is using adorka stock for a few images each night before bed because your brain processes muscle memory while you're asleep so i figure doing it right before bed means it's fresh? idk. maybe im delusional but it seemed to work for me

but yeah basically the answer is practicing with references :)

i forgot to add to this: drawing from greco roman statue references is also SUPER helpful imo. they're especially great for if you want to practice the nude body but dont want to look at actual naked people
