I've seen so many readings like that. Some of them probably come from an inner desire to hurt people, because I see no other real explanation. And others are just tragically clueless about what is probable, or appropriate. Same criticism goes to people who post "brutally honest/blunt" readings that are just products of their built up/misplaced anger that they get rid of by throwing it to strangers. Thankfully, I know that those things/readers are what they are, but what about so many other people who take those to heart? What about insecure teenagers, or even insecure adults, who come to those readings to gain claroty on something or to soothe their minds?

(And now, probably some people who missed the point a mile are going to say that tarot readers do not owe anyone empathy. Well, not if we're talking in strictly transactional terms! But yes, they actually do. They owe people tact while posting something online, publically.)

To people who have come across readings like that: ignore them from the bottom of your heart. There is a very small and insignificant chance that any of the groups are true, even partially. I can tell you that from my own personal experience and also from looking at 3-6 (or even more) group pick a card readings logically.

Writing stuff like "you will die, your spouse can assault you or your in laws wouldn't like you, or you'd lose direction or face racism or assault" is NOT okay.

This isn't general idc about your honesty and intentions for being "bold" and "transparent" but putting stuff like that out, atleast put a disclaimer goddamnn

this is so insane and insensitive. I would die on this hill that astrology and tarot would never be a 100% accurate, bruh we have "scientific" ways of calculating the weather and that isn't accurate at times either. It's ok. What someone picks up on your chart is totally a mix of their personal belief, system and worldview AND intuition.

My own experiences have told me that and trust me you'd never consult and see the number of "vedic" astrologers I have seen in my family, both as professions and external consultations and these guys don't just read books, they are rigid about it, it's their job and religion to be honest. They have such sacred practices that we wouldn't be able to do.

and yet their predictions fall.

Pleaseee if you read this, as a creator or a consumer please please please never believe anyone ever. I have wayy too many examples that cite this and I say this as someone who makes astrology posts.

and if you still are like "nawhh western astrology girlies are so sensitive vedic astrology is so honest I love how its so accurate and honest, I love being called out"

my first time getting a tarot reading was at school (last week). They had 2 women come in to give the students free readings if they wanted to.

because I was so interested in tarot cards,I decided to get my first reading. The experience was incredibly underwhelming.

she asked me to pick 5 cards, she then picked her cards, shuffled a couple, and finally laid them on the table. I wouldn’t say she’s a “bad” tarot reader because all tarot reading truly is, is just reading someone’s energy.

I say it’s underwhelming because most of the things she was talking about happened a year or years ago. She told me a bunch of stuff that I would have loved to hear last year during this time. None of what she was telling me applied to me or any of my current situations so it felt very confusing. Even her description of the people around me, like my parents, was terribly off.

i wanna make a post about energy harvesting and how the celebrity complex is maintained on it. poor discernment and boundaries cause us to enmesh ourselves with celebrity / the elite’s lives.

i was looking at the transits and realized a lot of them point to collective frenzies and disorientation. let’s get back on track . . we can tune in, but remember to tune out, too. they just getting rich off of our energy.

so . . . if they can do allat from manipulating your energy, imagine what you can do with your energy when you’re protective of it and selective with it.

✿  cancer  rising  energy   makes  everything  feel  a  little  softer  but  also  more  intense.  it’s  nurturing,  protective,  and  super  emotionally  tuned-in,  but  the  moods  can  flip  fast.  one  minute  it  feels  cozy  and  safe,  the  next  it’s  like  walking  on  eggshells.  still,  there’s  this  sense  of  really  feeling  each  other,  almost  like  your  moons  are  synced  up  somehow.
