Sitting waiting wishing

I am so sorry for loving you. I am so sorry for stopping my life for a year and half to put your needs before my own. I am so sorry for falling in love with you. Because you were a monster that disguised himself as my prince. But prince’s don’t treat their princesses the way you treated me. I can honestly say with 100% assurance that I wish I never met you. But there is part of me that is happy I did. You taught me exactly what I don’t want in a boy. Yes my old love you are a boy, a child if were going to be specific. I do not want my future lover to remind me of you in the slightest, and he won't. He will love me unconditionally, he will appreciate me, he will treat me right, and he will let me thrive and let me be me. You do not get to have the woman that I am becoming.  She will be amazing and while you live your luxurious lifestyle and drown yourself in booze and girls, she will be a glowing star. One that you missed out on because you were too selfish and childish to treat her right. You told her it was her loss on the last day you spoke to her, but jokes on you my dear old lover, for the joke will forever be on you. You cannot be that way and get away with it, the stars will take you to where you belong and I have a strong feeling i’ll enjoy it more than you.
