His focus was blasted, although Little Nine did try to warn it’s owner as soon as his attention divided - between 06 putting the mask on. It only severed to distract Osgood once the serpent pecked his head. “Huh?’ Eyes squinted at the serpent, but as soon as 06 flitted by him and stolen the keycard, he paused and looked at his empty hand before looking off ahead. “H-hey–” His pace picked up the rest of the way, jogging to cut the distance which was a mere small stretch away - though as soon as it looked to be in reach, he made a handsy attempt to catch the waving about keycard. As easier as it would’ve been to just grab his tail, he certainly wasn’t interested in activating him by accident either - in this state of unpredictable mind. “Oof…” Osgood paused, rubbing under his glasses, he further embarrassed himself watching his fail efforts despite the supposed steady hand of a scientist. Though his returning question made him snort, he was rubbing away the bitter self defeat and let 06 take the reigns of the card for now.
But now, pulling his hand away, he looked at his struggling efforts of trying to slot the cards as he pocketed two of the bottles for later. Nevertheless, at least there was a bit of a more light look in his eyes - he was amused and it worked this time around no matter the question on hand. Eyeing him for a moment, he considered his words while he made a few missing attempts to grab the card until he realized he was being played again. “Come now-” Osgood glanced at the waving card before using both hands to clasp trap it between the palm and pill bottle, plucking it from his hold. “These doors are awful- but I’m not depressed. I’m surprised I’m not if anything though, their food doesn’t help that though so maybe it could be… Not that they’d have something like that here, but cookies do sound good. I avoid the kitchen like the plague when nothing smells right. Should we go get some then after this?” Osgood brought the question, but in passing as well while her stepped around 06 to enter the room.
Though the only sight there to really look at was scp-914. Aside from the other experimental pieces on the shelves against the back wall, it was a small room and his only focus were the two chambers on both sides of the machine now - between deciding what was what. “Hmm…” He took a fast glance for the instructive papers, not that he been down here more than twice, it was still strange to him.
Given the statement, he thought he was right on the mark. He gave a couple of enthusiastic nods and left it at that, though. The kitchen could wait. At the time, what had his attention was the indescribable contraption waiting for them inside the room. Instead of getting up to his feet and walking like a normal person would, he chose to leap and hop on all fours the rest of the way, much like a monkey would. What he left behind were the eerie sounds of the closing door.
“I have no clue what I'm looking at, hahah.” he stated as he paced around it, shuffling to the side away from Osgood while he was briefing over the instructions. It looked like he was about to pull something from behind his ear when he suddenly stopped upon seeing the object placement booth. At first, he thought about sticking his hand in there, but something thankfully held him back by the scruff. It was the pill bottle he remembered he had brought with him. Without thinking much about it, he opened it and placed one of the capsules in there. But before he could mess around with the panel, the bell distracted him into looking up. His gaze darted to and fro, startled at first, but he would soon collapse into a fit of giggling.
