Because I needed something else to be obsessed with, I shotgunned all available episodes of Heaven Official's Blessing... and was immediately stricken with grief over the lack of more available episodes.

So there goes a not insignificant chunk of change to get all 8 books in the series... which I refuse to feel guilty about because I'm an adult, and I can spend my money how I like. If this releases dopamine then by god, I'll buy myself a little treat of many thousands of words of fantasy danmei.

Late to the party, but I finally got around to watching SK8. Kinda love the bickering, lifelong yearning gays.

Alright, I felt bad only drawing Suga at the lowest point of his story;;; Here's the soft ending he earns himself over the years... quiet nights at home, reading fairy tales where problems get solved and monsters become friends... and everyone gets a happily ever after.

The Fall

Coming in just under the wire for restraintstielweek, but better late than never? Flipped version - which makes more sense gravitationally but is less Symbolic - under the cut.

It's time for my yearly "I miss my shifter au boys" rumination... except this time, my brain isn't moving forward into their future. I'm thinking a bit about Suga's early days.

In the story, we meet Suga while he's still plenty twisted by his past and all that anger... but he's more controlled and measured. His temper gets him into trouble, yes, but I imagine he was worse before the story started. Back when he was young, when he was blunt force and bloody knuckles and bare toothed vengeance. When he fought shifters and other hunters alike because the whole world was against him.

He settled over time. No less full of rage and and thirst for revenge, but he learned to harness it. He became a blade as he matured, efficient and deadly... but calm, even pretty, until wielded.
