ALSO it sounds like sheβs followed the game for a bit, which means theyβve been cool with literally everything else but those two draw the line.

Whenever someone is interested in dark media people immediately pull the proshipper card like it's true.
Just because you like characters like Otto and Arora doesn't make you support incest, and just because you like Coyle for example doesn't make you racist. Those are very strong words and I have no idea why some people just throw it around like it's a fact.
Liking dark media is fine, liking dark characters who are not typical anime boys is fine, writing fanfiction and drawing fanart is fine. Making your own characters horrible like the canon characters is fine.
To me, all of this is fine unless someone starts to portray their actions as a good thing and romancizes it and tries to justify their actions. Now THAT is weird weird, liking the game itself and the characters doesn't make you that because it's just a horror game with interesting characters and lore.
About "being cool with everything else" it's embarrassing to say that this has been a problem in the fandom for a while. I have no idea how people even do this, like how can you be a Franco fan but be grossed out by Coyle? Or how can you be a Coyle fan but be grossed out by Franco? I get it, Coyle is racist. Does that mean he is worse than Gooseberry who abuses children and Franco who mutilates women and keeps their nipples? It just makes you a hypocrite.
What the new prime assets have is uncomfortable, but that's the point. They are not any worse than the other prime assets, they are just more gross and sadly it makes sense. Otto and Arora were completely unaccepted and had no one, of course they would be into eachother. It's gross but sad at the same time.
Liking Franco/Coyle/Gooseberry but not being cool with Otto and Arora? It's just hypocrisy and these people should just stop liking the game then because they make no sense. Outlast has so many gross topics but weird conjoined twins is where they draw the line?
