Simwise Gamgee

So I’m just going to write out the rest of gen 2′s story, and tack it onto the first post for gen 3.

Well, there goes Calvin’s reserve right out the window. After another morning hookup, Calvin officially gets himself a girlfriend. This earns him a naughty reputation. He has yet to see if Tatiana is truly worth it. After all, that woman from the gardens was nice, and he really doesn’t know much about Tatiana besides what she looks like naked... Oh well. What could possibly go wrong here?

They first christen the couch, and then kiss once more and go to bed. Is it weird that he’s spending the night already? Maybe.

Evening comes, and Calvin shows up at his date’s house. Tatiana is her name, he’s been told. 

The next morning, Calvin wakes up to a text from his friend, giving him more information about the woman he is to meet; she’s in the military, and really into fitness. Since the date isn’t for several more hours- just not enough time to bulk up, booo- he decides to take a trip up to the military base to take a tour and learn a bit about her life. He may not be looking for anything super serious at the moment- though given his track record, who knows what might happen?- but he’s a caring soul at heart.

Leave it to Calvin to get himself romantically involved with a random woman the night before he has a blind date. Luckily perhaps, they never progress beyond a bit of kissing. The young woman comes home with him, only to then exclaim how late it is and that she needs to be getting home- some people actually have jobs, Calvin!

A friend calls right after lunch to inform Calvin that he has been set up on a blind date. Oh, great.... He doesn’t much like the idea, not that he’s shy around women, just that he’s still hurting. Zo, his high school girlfriend, broke things off suddenly right before graduation, without any explanation, at least to his face. He found out later he’d been only the second out of three boyfriends Zo had at the time. Still, it hurt, and for the most part, Calvin would rather play the field a bit before settling down. His ultimate goal in life is to settle down and raise a handful of kids, but he wants it to be with the right person. Wanting to clear his head, Calvin ventures out to the local community garden, and meets this pretty little lady.

The second morning begins with a rain storm, so Calvin delays his city exploration in favor of working on his first major painting project.

Inspired by the cooking channel, by the time dinner rolls around, Calvin feels adventurous and decides to give the grill another try. It... does not go well.

After a quick lunch, Calvin’s first-day activities include a water-logged trip to the nearby park, and getting a goldfish companion. He then sits down, and lo and behold, the first interesting thing he finds on TV is the cooking channel. It couldn’t hurt, could it?

Having always liked art, Calvin decides he should give it a go as an artist. He’ll build up his portfolio, and see if he can make a decent living selling what he paints. Midway through, he gets hungry, and curious about that grill that came with the apartment. He finds he enjoys cooking... even if he’s not too great at it right away.

Calvin Sterling is Lucky Palms’ newest resident. After Calvin and his twin sister, Kaelen, graduated from high school, he was at a bit of a loss. Kae had her life figured out; she was headed off to Sims University immediately, had been working on her science and logic skills practically since they could walk, and knew exactly what she wanted to do with her life. Hell, after a couple months at school, she even had a boyfriend. But Calvin? He was still living at home, in the same room he’d been in since he was a wee baby. Something had to change. So one day, he packed up only the essentials, and took off. Lucky Palms could have been anywhere, really. It just happened to be the first place he came across. He kind of likes it here, but only time will tell if he will make it his new home.

About to build a new home and then get to playing. Starting over Sterling gen 2, with Calvin. saviorhide
