I was asked to share the rec center I created for my new neighborhood, Oasisville, that was heavily inspired by this build. I am sharing an unfurnished version with very little CC, since the furnished one would be too big & cluttered and would probably take me months to garner the strength to list all the custom content lol 🐛
Anyway, it’s got everything your simmies might need for a day of family (or single) fun! A pool, a basketball court, a sprinklers area, a playground, arts center, rooftop yoga, smoothies bar and much much more. It wasn’t play tested since my ‘hood is still empty, but I think everything should work properly. ☀️

Some of you guys asked me to share this beach lot I’ve recently built for my new desert ‘hood Oasisville and here it is! 🌵
The lot is completely functional and your simmies can even get in the water from the lowest platform although they will go underwater and sometimes they will swim normally, don’t know why, but still, it’s kinda realistic? I just imagine them diving lol. 🌊 They will also get out of the water onto the beach. The waves from the ocean do go all over the two lower platforms, but it looks kinda cool! I couldn't find anything like this so I had to make it. The doll is based on a model of Bella from TS1, extracted by @deedee-sims - recolors feature vampire countess, evil & good witch, Barbie style dolls and Bella herself, of course.

The hat works pretty well with most hairstyles, especially the straight hair ones and there's almost no clipping, but unfortunately it won't work with every hairstyle!
There's some minor clipping with the coat when the sims sit down, but it didn't seem like too much of a big deal. 🐸
I have thoroughly play-tested the items and haven't noticed any major issues with clipping, but if something occurs please let me know and i will do my best to fix it! ♥
Finally got around to finishing some male clothes I've been working on! Some of these pieces by @sforzcc (I think I'm pretty close to having converted their entire page lmao) have caught my eye a long time ago and I've wanted them in my game ever since. ♥
Sooo, you get three pairs of pants and two tops, the top on the right is base game because those pants with the shirt around the waist cause clipping with most tops, but I thought they were pretty cool despite that. 🦕
This set consists of:
matinée 2.0: jeans remake (regular jeans, version 4) for AM paired with rock point boots by @sforzcc (2,130 polys, 8 swatches, both morhps);
birdie shirt by @sforzcc for both AM + TM (repo'd to the adult version, 1,830 polys, 8 swatches, both morphs). This is actually a re-texture done on this mesh originally converted by @mdpthatsme and @deedee-sims has added morphs here. The shirt caught my eye and when I saw that the textures matched perfectly I was thrilled!

I came up with this set when I converted these 3 hairstyles and I actually hate taking hair preview pics so I though it would be way more fun to come up with a clothing set as well. And ever since @paluding's Tattooer came to life, converting cute texture based clothes has been a dream. ♥

Comes with improved drinking style! Sims will now sip their champagne, but if their mood is low, then there's an increased chance they'll gulp it down faster.
Compatible with Dickhurt's toasting fix, Pescado's toasting hack or with Simler90's toasting set mod - as long as this default loads last. But I recommend you use it along this toasting fix by @episims

The TS2 flute BHAV has been messed up to a point where Eaxis had to remove the fluid. Otherwise flutes would spawn on the tray already filled with champagne.
Fluid morphs are broken beyond repair so Epi came up with a workaround - flute mesh contains all three fluid levels (hence the polycount).
Fluid subsets switch to different material settings after each animation ends - the result is a bit more choppy when compared to drinks with morphs (where fluid level drops during the drinking animation). But hey - still a 100% improvement from no champagne at all!

I know there's sleeker looking revamps (like @vegan-kaktus 's detailed default replacement) of this low poly Maxis decor, but it's an object I used in almost all my childhood builds, so it's pretty nostalgic to me! Still, I always thought that the colors made it look somewhat rotten, which doesn't seem very tasty or plastic imo, so I've given it a slightly more appealing retexture along with an additional 8 recolors of the bowl.
Recolors have been clearly labeled in the folder so you can delete any that you don't want. Left to right: black ceramic, white ceramic, med wood, light wood, black wicker, white wicker, dark wicker, and light wicker.
Ultra Wide Loading Screens (3440x1440) + new splash music
This might be a bit niche since I'd imagine most people play on a regular 16:9 monitor, but I don't. I play on a 21:9 (or 43:18) ultra wide monitor. And it kept bothering me that all the beautiful loading screens out there just do not look right with this aspect ratio.
So I made five ultra wide loading screens in Clean UI style:
This also comes with some new splash music because the Mansion & Garden one is boring. I find that The Sims 2 DS CAS music fits the franchise really well and just gets me excited to play, so I added that to the download.
Installation:
Loading Screen: The download comes with five loading screens. Pick only one of them and put it into the UI folder of the base game (for the Ultimate Collection, this is C:\Programs (86x)\EA Games\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\Double Deluxe\Base\TSData\Res\UI)
If you want to use multiple loading screens, use @greatcheesecakepersona's loading randomizer 2
Splash music: put the file into the sound folder of your latest EP or SP (TSData\Res\Sound) or use it with the Loading Randomizer
