I hate making these posts, but recently the relationship between my landlady and I has grown more and more unstable. She’s been stressing me the fuck out by expecting me to be her maid and repeatedly taking her anger out on me. She’s accused me of messing with her stuff (I have not) and has hinted at possibly putting hidden cameras in the house, which messes with my paranoia. She’s also transphobic and constantly misgenders me and refers to me as a girl despite that I’ve come out to her twice already. We had a fight recently where I told her how I felt and she mocked me (and accidentally sent her mocking texts to me, lol) and essentially called me selfish. We were able to make up, but this has happened before, and it will happen again. Basically, I need to get out. And so does my boyfriend, who lives with me.

I’m aiming to move out December 1st and while I’m contacting my cfs worker to help me get the process started, they won’t actually help me pay my damage deposit or pet deposit, which falls on my shoulders. And we don’t have any furniture at all.

I should be able to scrape up about $900 - $1000 myself with selling my old laptop and getting back our previous damage deposit. My boyfriend is on social assistance and isn’t able to contribute much, so it’s on me to provide most of the money. 

Here’s a breakdown of what I’m asking for:

$200 - $300 to cover the rest of our deposit fees

$100 ($50 respectively) to buy winter clothes

undetermined amount to buy furniture (bed, table, chairs, dressers) – every extra dollar will be used towards this
