she contemplated all of this while getting ready for the dinner he’d invited her out too. not to be mixed up with an actual date or an apology, but an excuse to get her into bed. it’s what a majority of the interactions between them were. “you look nice.” she states blandly with crossed arms as she stepped out of the apartment, “so where are we going this time?” @ofangelos

seren hadn’t been in new york for longer than a few hours, and yet she’d grown bored already. she sauntered around her penthouse aimlessly, not expecting to find her roommate sitting there on the couch, sighing loudly to gain the attention of the raven haired female seren plops down beside her. “i’m bored,” she whines crossing her arms, “we should go do something, i feel like i haven’t even been here a few hours and already it’s not half as fun as japan was.” @pcwerluna

“really? of course i’m jealous is.” seren is trying to keep the tears from falling, she’d never swallowed her pride this much for one person before. “i’m jealous because i know that i don’t deserve you! i know that you could go out there and find a million people better than me! i’m jealous because you didn’t even flinch when she flirted with you! i’m jealous because you’re supposed to be mine!” the tears are falling much too quickly for her own good, but she gains her compsure long enough to say one more thing, “but most importantly is, i’m jealous because--because i love you alright! i love you so much! more than i’ve ever loved anyone or anything, and that fucking terrifies me! i’m so afraid that you’re going to walk out that door any minute.” isla’s embrace is enough to calm seren down even on her worst day, but especially now, “i love you.” she whispers into the nape of her neck placing a gentle kiss where she once spoke her words.

“i-- have to laugh. imagine being this wrong.”
