It's Simply Divine

I seriously thought this would have bee removed by now. I have no idea why I'm even surprised. The quality of MTS has been deteriorating at a rapid rate for a long while now. But this? I expected honestly that they'd have a line of some sort. This is not ok, and the staff response? Not ok.

Basically someone uploaded an anorexic/bulimic body mesh. And it's still there.

Because apparently that's ok to upload, but my fucking flag lipsticks for Sims 3 was rejected 3 times because the texture looked weird. Really mods? You give a green light to this, but if a texture looks odd you kick it back?

And then this. Just_Tweens says this.

"Things you may need to know: Do not re-upload this sim on another site and claim it as your's Do not use her in exact download condition in your sim movies. Use her as a model of your clothes, hair or makeup and feel free to edit her face to make it less slimmer and of course you can use a different body type on her if you use her in your sim modeling! I'm sorry, but I do not tolerate "hate mail" or anything, please don't make any comments saying "oh she's too thin!" or "why are you making underweight sims?!" Everyone is special and unique in their own way! I do accept constructive critisism."

No. No no no. This is glorifying a sometimes debilitating disorder that many people suffer with and struggle from. An illness is not unique or special. It is scary, it can be humiliating, the comments you get from it can be emotionally scaring. It is a struggle, it is a fight and sometimes people don't win against it. Do not treat and label the struggles of people as a "quirk" or something to be treated as super special, cute. As someone who is underweight I can feel safe saying that we do not enjoy looking emaciated, we do not enjoy seeing our bones. I do not struggle with an ED, but to those who do, how dare you make this mesh and be so dismissive of their everyday journey.

And when someone did contact the mods, they got this.

Bullshit MTS2Staff. Bullshit. If someone for some reason wanted an emaciated mesh, they'd go dig through google and look for it themselves. I don't expect to see KKK downloads on MTS2. I don't expect to see segregation items on MTS. I know I just gave some sickfuck out there an idea though. But when a site shouldn't have that type of content, don't expect people not to be disgusted!

How are we supposed to arm ourselves against triggers, in a place where said trigger should not even exist?

I'm sure. This is my first full day back, I took a looong hiatus because of this exact crap.
