Hello! Hope youre doing well! I have a question about the fire tutorial you posted a while ago (160039267730/today-we-make-fire-this-tutorial-has-been). I'm trying to follow it but I cant seem to get the fire to keep a continuous loop. I followed the tutorial to a T and cant seem to get it right! Do you have any tips to keep my fire looping? Thanks!
I think I understand your question. The reason it is looping is that Iâm cutting off the first few frames in the export. All particles in maya have to be generated so there will be a brief moment where stream of particles must begin generating. If you need it to loop during a scene, itâs best to give it some preroll before the action starts so it time to generate before the scene starts.

I reality there is no âloopâ happening in maya itself. The loop is the result of me looping the playback
