You and Solomon had gotten back from shopping, whilst unloading the groceries into the kitchen you could feel Solomons eyes on you.

“Take a picture it lasts longer.” You joked, not looking at him while you get ingredients for supper out

Solomon let out a chuckle, reaching up to put something onto one of the cupboards.

“Sorry.” He says in amusement, scratching the back of his neck

“Anyways, what’re you’re plans for the rest of your day?” You asked, turning to face him whilst leaning on the counter

Solomon was ready to just shut himself away in his study, ready to dive into spell books to take his mind off of how happy you looked with the brothers today.

You had began taking out some things to cook with, turning back away from him while chopping some vegetables.

“What is it? You look like you’re about to burst.” You laughed, always loving the chances to poke fun at him

“I have something I need to admit.” He said firmly, turning around to face your back

“What? Finally get that pact with Lucifer?” you joked, laughing at your own joke as you looked back at him

His serious expression caused your face to fall, in your heart you knew what he was gonna say, the thought made you shake your head while stumbling back a bit

“No.” You simply say, walking out of the kitchen in a rush

“It’s no use, please just hear me out.” He quickly caught up to you stepping in front of you while a hand clenched the fabric of his shirt over his heart

“I have loved you ever since I’ve known you, I couldn’t help it.” He pleaded, following you as you continue walking

“I’ve always wanted to tell you but you were constantly surrounded by all of them, which is fine. But now we’re alone and I must get an answer cause I can not go on like this any longer!” For once in his life he sounded desperate, his hand gentle grabbing your arm to stop you from running anymore

“Sol, please just stop.” You begged, knowing the inevitable that lies ahead

“I gave up my scheming, I gave up everything you didn’t like. It’s good, I’m happy I did. And I watched and waited and never complained because I- well I figured you love me.” Solomons voice cracked, a hand coming up to wipe his nose while his eyes became red and puffy

You just kept shaking your head, quietly begging him to stop talking before he ends up hurt.

“And I realize I’m not this great man-“

“You are a great man, you’re too great. And I just- we’re just too different. I mean look at us! And we’d fight, we can’t help it even now.” Your words had cut him deep, your friendly grip on his shoulder to reassure him just hurt more

“You’d hate my pestering and I couldn’t handle your secrets, and we’d wish we’d never been together.” You tried to explain to him, trying your best to make him see the problems that would lie ahead

“I love you.” He repeated over and over again, trying to get the point across

Tears formed in your eyes as you looked down, swallowing the lump in your throat uou finally say it

“I can’t love you like you want me too, I’m sorry.”

Solomon let some tears escape, backing up a bit from you while shaking his head. A realization hitting him.

"It's because of them isn't it?"

"......no, no no. I just, I just think I’m ready for anything right now." You lie under your breath, your heart clenched in your chest like the tight grip of sorrow was slowly bleeding into it

"Yes you are, cause the moment we get back you'll jump into their arms and fight the world to never be apart again...” his voice had gotten so quiet it almost gave you whiplash.

Solomon was longer looking at you, instead his gaze was on the ground while his eyes glossed over like freshly cleaned glass.

“…and I'll watch."

You tried to reach out to him at his broken tone but he instead just walked away, the closing of the door was all that was heard as you stood there in silence. Tears beginning to fall down your face the farther and farther he got from you….why did he have to fall in love with you? Why couldn’t he have spared himself of this heartache? Cause now…..

Amusement Park Story 1

Summary: Jumin is taken on a ride where he meets you

Warning: (if I got the name wrong or did anything false with this fic please tell me), I haven’t done anything Mystic Messenger related in a long time so possibly ooc, my writing is rusty due to my like 4 month hiatus and might not be the best, it’s also short, if you see a * it’s because I spend too much time on character.ai

A/N: hey I’m sorry I haven’t been writing, I couldn’t think of anything and I was going through mental stuff.

This will be apart of a short story series based around the same idea, also it’s really really short and I might rewrite it later

He didn’t even wanna come here, the RFA decided to have a ‘free day’ and hang out at the amusement park, Jumin was unwillingly dragged along. Seven had pointed at a ride for everyone to try, it was a large circle with seats on the rim of it with railings so the riders could hold on.

While they waited in line he staggered forward at a sudden force, turning around he saw a woman there with an apologetic look on her face.

“I’m so sorry, are you alright?” She asked him, hoping she didn’t upset the random man

But as fate would have it, before he could respond the people on the ride went off, making way for the new riders. He watched as the woman went up with her friends, Seven and Yoosung were heading on when they saw Jumin still standing there.

“Not chickening out are you?” Zen said, a cocky smile on his face

Jumin just rolled his eyes, getting on the ride as well. They sat down not to far from you and your friends, he couldn’t help but let his eyes occasionally wander to you, sometimes he saw you looking back. Just as everyone felt the ride begin to spin slowly your face dropped as you felt your skirt ride up, putting one hand to pull down your skirt while holding desperately on the other. 

Jumin saw your actions and took off his jacket, offering it to you, catching the attention of the operator.

“Hey miss, you with the turtleneck.” The ride operator called out, you looked at him as you move Jumin’s jacket around your waist

“Are you single?”

The question takes many people off guard who begin to laugh, including you. With the nod of your head the ride suddenly jolted up a bit, causing you to fly up as well and hold the bars tightly. This happens more and more to the point where the jacket starts slipping from your lap, you quickly let go to readjust it but find your body flying sideways, landing in the lap of a person.

You and Jumin meet eyes as he holds you so you don’t fall, his hands also holding the jacket for you. The RFA (Seven mainly) beside him were cheering and trying to tease him about having a beautiful girl land on him.

“Jumin Han.” he introduces with a bit of a smile

(Name) you say back, holding onto his arms while the ride operator finds his next victi- people to torment.

Rejecting either Mammon, Solomon, or Diavolo for Lucifer, then after Lucifer loses his memories and doesn’t remember your relationship you’re talking to either Asmo, Simeon, or Barbatos about Lucifer forgetting everything and the person who once asked to stay by your side: and you have this conversation

Attack on Titan: person x reader, mention of Armin x reader

You’re lover died in the final battle, now that everything is starting to calm down a bit you’re talking to one of your friends (whoever you want), confiding in them about how you’re so lonely, and are hoping for another marriage proposal from your best friend Armin, not wanting to hear them say that it wouldn’t be fair to Armin if you settle

Mystic Messenger: character x reader, mention of either Yoosung, 707, or Zen x reader

After a bad breakup with whichever love interest you want, you’re talking with Jaehee about how (I imagine Yoosung, 707, or Zen) said they would love you forever, hoping so badly that they’d stay true to their word, even if you didn’t feel the same

Bungou Stray Dogs: past Dazai x reader, mention of Chuuya x reader

I lost my Bluetooth Earbuds and now I have to deal with the worlds noises without them, which it doesn’t help that even silence has its own loudness, plus I don’t have my sweets to calm me down, and my roommates bed makes crinkle noises when she moves, not to mention it’s almost midnight and so I’m too tired to be able to properly look for my earbuds. So instead I’m trying to sleep while letting darkness slowly consume my soul

I see some x reader oneshots where the character being written for (I normally see this with ones where the character being written for is a guy) gets flirted with by someone and they try to turn them down and the person just doesn’t get the hint and continues to push them self on the character and make them very uncomfortable, then the reader gets very upset about this (which I get feeling insecurity, that’s not what bugs me) then the character has to comfort them and it all ends right after the reader if reassured. If you like these oneshots that’s fine, I’m not judging anyone.

It kinda bugs me (I don’t know if that’s the right word to use though) that if it was the reader in the position of the character the situation would be taken a lot more seriously then “oh someone is flirting with them.”

I hope I’m saying this right, I just think there aren’t enough fics of the character being written for being comforted for being in a situation that makes them uncomfortable like that.
