In response to a prompt by Anonymous in the Young Royals Prompt Meme collection.

As it turns out, August and Simon did know each other before Simon [is asked to bring] alcohol for the initiation party. They had hooked up in secret on and off, but it all ended when Simon finally put a stop to it before they went too far, romantically or physically. Both parties have mutually sworn each other to secrecy, and Wilhelm and Sara have no idea. The only problem? August can't stop thinking about Simon. (This is Canon-divergent in my head, but could be made into an AU if writer prefers)

i think its gotta do with their little age diffrence, edvin was closer to willes age than omar was to simons, and omars image outside of simon is just a lot more mature

A little bit because - whilst a dick move in a lot of ways - it was bad ass.

But also because it shows that Wille had the capacity to be just like them. To manipulate and pull his weight and throw his title around. He COULD be what the queen wants him to be.
