Mod Support Notice

Hello everyone - I'm sorry for my long absence. It's become clear that between work and family obligations I don't have time to maintain or rewrite my tuning mods anymore, especially given that some of the tools I used to make them are no longer updated or supported. Since this is the case, I'm open to other serious modders 'adopting' my projects such as Preferences Plus, Fear Factory, social interaction packs, etc so that you all can continue using them. I still hope to provide an occasional CAS set and periodic updates to CAS Sanity as time allows.

FYI I've been trying to pause billing on a monthly basis to avoid people being charged during this period. Unfortunately the only way to stop billing for a longer period of time is by deactivating the page entirely, which would make my mods no longer accessible.

Hi helaene! Just downloaded your CAS Sanity mod and noticed a big difference in how townies look on a fresh save I just made. I'm very excited about it! I just started a save file playing with the Lovestruck premades and noticed that in the Dynamic Daters household Yoltic's partywear shirt is invisible on his body. I had looked at him before installing the mod, in another save, and his shirt was normal. Mateo Markovic in Tartosa also had this issue with his everyday top. Is this just on my end?

CAS Sanity updates including Life & Death and Grim event items

Merged files for each pack have been updated in Google Drive with ~500 item overrides, and new files added for recent content like the Life & Death expansion pack and the Grim Reaper rewards event to categorize items appropriately (ie. no crop tops for elders).

Hi there I love your mod CAS Sanity but was wondering if you can make a version that disables custom made clothing, would love to see an option that generated sims only wear game clothing and not clothing I downloaded that is community made. Hope you can work your magic and make that possible

Hi @cyberops - unfortunately I don't know of a way to do that, but you could use the Disallow for Random batch fix in Sims 4 Studio to run it on a folder containing all of your CC. 😊

PrefPlus Lovestruck Hotfix

The Sims 4 Mod: The Custom Preferences Mod

To support the new Turn Ons and Turn Offs in Lovestruck, patch 1.108.289.1030 changed the code for how preferences work, so custom categories must be added to a list and no longer show up automatically in the Likes and Dislikes section. Furthermore, the list uses SimData, so it's not possible to simply inject it with a Python script.

Sadly, this means the only way for custom categories to work at all (at least without some really complex UI modding) is via a global mod that adds them all back.

This mod adds support for custom categories in the following mods:

Preferences Plus by helaene (includes Seasons addon)

All of Vicky Sims (chingyu1023)'s custom preference mods (as of July 24th 2024)

Paws and Claws by ChippedSims (animal preferences)

Secret Occults by JaneSimsten (occult preferences)

Go to School V5 by Zerbu, aka me (school subject preferences)

Road to Wealth by xosdr

Occult Preferences by SpinningPlumbobs

Visible Weather Preferences by Andirz

Pizza Preferences by Kuttoe

In addition, this adds a whole new Sim Attributes section, for preferences that don't fit the Likes and Dislikes section.

I claim no ownership over this and give full permission to copy and make your own versions of this mod, as well as distribute those versions. While I intend to update it with preferences from other mods, you can also do that yourself if you're making your own mod or want to use a mod that hasn't been added yet.
