WITCHERY WEDNESDAY HAS RETURNED!
Witchery Wednesday is an occult-themed weekly CAS and screenshot challenge that is based on gloomiegalaxie's Femboy Friday. Back in 2025 people made posts saying they missed the FF challenge, so I thought, why not set up another weekly challenge? Started by me in 2025, taken over by @disastermage until February 2026 and now back in the paws of @freezerbnuuy again.
HOW IT WORKS
Despite me labelling this as a CAS challenge, it is also for typical screenshots and edits. You don't necessarily have to make a new Sim for the challenge, you just need to make a new image that to some extent is fitting for the theme. It just depends on your preferences!
• I will upload a theme for the CAS challenge every Wednesday.
• I will schedule the posts for 12am GMT every Wednesday.
• It can be one theme or multiple-choice themes per week.
• I may possibly consider doing month-long challenges as well!
• You can do this challenge using any iteration of The Sims game whether TS2, TS3 or TS4.
• You can make CAS screenshots, in-game screenshots or renders for this challenge. You can make a new Sim for the challenge or you can dress up or make a screenshot of an existing Sim of yours to fit the challenge. You can also use premade Sims for this of course!
• You are not obliged to do the challenge every week, and you are more than welcome to make Sims to fit past themes and tag this blog, so long as you put in the post which theme you based the Sim on!
• You are of course not required to have occult-related packs, though it does help to do so if you can't use custom content.
• You also DO NOT have to do any after-editing, you do not have to have ReShade/GShade or anything. Anyone with a Sims game and a dream can participate!
Adding images for decoration, or those things that are meant to simulate the game’s UI on your CAS screenshots, renders and edits, and drawing on top of them (adding extra shading or painting extra wisps on hair etc. like some Simblrs do) is allowed. As is after effects editing in Photoshop or whatever. Be aware of any artists’ rules about use and don’t use any images / art if the artist says you can’t. And don’t use AI-generated art or elements.
• How you interpret the week's theme is up to you!
• If you're worried about it not being clear how your Sim, screenshot or render, fits the theme, you can write about it in the post if it makes you feel more at ease! There is no strict rules about making it fit the theme so please don't panic about any of this!
• PLEASE REBLOG other people's Sims on occasion! this is a challenge to help create community, and not solely a space for self-promo.
THE FEW RULES
• 1 - DO NOT use AI to edit the image or in your process.
• 2 - Do not make a Sim intended to undermine or upset any marginalised community including but not limited to marginalised races, gender identities, sexualities, intersex people and disabled people.
• 3 - NSFW or Sims with an intended sexual theme is fine, I will tag anything I deem 18+ (nudity or things intended to be sexual) but for this challenge please only make NSFW of Young Adult Sims or above or I won't reblog them. Blood, gore, horror etc. is fine too.
• 4 - The intent of the challenge is to make a new image, not to reblog old stuff that you think fits the week's theme. It's a creative challenge designed to spark new ideas! You can use the same Sims as you've used before, but it has to be a new image of the Sim and not something you've uploaded previously.
I may potentially miss some entries in terms of reblogging them here, I'm sorry if I do. I check the tags to help make sure I don't miss anything.
