the duality of a queen for the people
hiiii so i might be trying my hand at a castle????? 🫣 i've never committed to a castle before, so i have no ambitions that this will look fantastic, but it looks promising? i was heavily inspired by the darong build (i can't for the life of me do reference photos so i gotta take inspo where i can); specifically the general shape, the balcony for speeches, the throne room and the front of the build. but it's also it's own unique thing. i spent a lot of time doing the garden (i wanna make a café thing with small businesses, my sim has become queen but she's the one who would open her home to let people be a part of it, so she'd definitely make some "community spaces" around her lot). next i really wanna do a little park / creative area, maybe somewhere to paint and stuff in the middle of all the flowerssss. and also a royal stable, because you BET she'll adopt so many horses. and then perhaps a family graveyard / crypt in the back.
it's still a work in progress!! i'll post the finished product when i'm done. :3

Erica, my favorite sim for the past year or so, passed away today. 😭 I play with aging turned off because I like to age them up when I feel like I've accomplished everything I want with them, and usually as an elder I let them pass because they don't interest me anymore. But I felt like keeping her around for a while, so she's been an elder for a long time. Then a fire happened today, and I decided to just let it happen, because otherwise I'd just keep her around forever. A bit sad though, I gotta say.

This is Lars. He married Mila Gobston Goth (part of the Biggs legacy) and they had just had their first child (Hannah) when Mila accidentally died due to electrocution.
