This is painfully accurate. I especially like the fourth graph. There’s more and more talk in the mental health community about recovery from mental illness as opposed to curing it, similar to the way we talk about recovery from addiction. I like the idea of recovery being an active thing you do as opposed to a passive thing that happens to you. Depression itself is a passive thing that happens to you. It makes sense to see recovery as an active counterbalance.
Depression isn’t fake. Or trivial, or even simple. It’s nebulous, it’s important and it’s all. Too. REAL. Please...don’t joke about it. A reblog would be appreciated, but...at least remember this? It’s the least anyone could do.

Watching the TOTK direct, it makes so, SO much sense why this game took FOREVER to develop on top of any and all covid delays. Making customizable weapons with damn-near everything that Link can collect/encounter in the wild? Making customizable objects that can be attached at any point along the object’s sides? Probably all the wonky physics and bugs with the Recall ability? Even with the base of BOTW, adding all that additional code and CONSTANTLY testing it to make sure it works properly must’ve taken ages.
Seriously. MAD respect to the developers, these things must’ve taken AGES to code in, let alone debug!

I’m calling it: Ganondorf WILL be our ally in Tears of the Kingdom.
We all know the scene where he is shown:
The voiceover makes it seem as if he comes into his Demise power at that moment. But look closer at his forehead.
It’s faint (and not the best quality, sorry), but he has one of the Tears there. It emits a golden shine.
Magatama are known to ward off evil. Ganondorf has one of the Tears (=magatama) on his forehead while the aura of Malice is wafting around his body—leaving him?
I’m calling bullshit on the voiceover here. It’s a red herring to make us believe Ganondorf will be our villain. What this scene LOOKS LIKE is a desperate struggle against the Malice.
Also, keep in mind his promotional artwork: there, he wears traditional Gerudo garb of the present-day Gerudo. We don’t see that garb anywhere in the trailer, not yet: because Ganondorf is not freed from Demise yet.
Honestly, at this point I’m about to eat my hat if Ganondorf does NOT join us in the fight against Demise (who we see for a SPLIT SECOND:)
Look at that. Sure, the fiery hair COULD be happening while Ganondorf is awakened. But look closer. Look at his arms.
Scales.
Does Ganondorf have scales on his arms? Nope! Scaley boy has always been Demise.
Conclusive evidence? Not yet, of course. But I won’t be deterred from this theory until it’s proven wrong by the game.
