↳ Ruth Aesthetic and Apprection Post because she has been through a whole lot from having her husband go to war, birthing and bringing up five kids, having to watch three of them go to war thinking the next will follow,seeing one hurt, seeing another leave and having to deal with her sons death two times. Her strength throughout the series has been admirable and it made her one of my favorite minor characters from the books.

Through it all, I stare at the boy on the throne. He maintains his mask. Jaw clenched, lips pressed into a thin, unforgiving line. Still fingers, straight back. But his gaze wavers. Something in his eyes has gone far away. And at his collar, the slightest gray flush rises, painting his neck and the tips of his ears. 

He’s terrified.
