The World Is Ugly - by My Chemical Romance
I’m listening to this song, and I haven’t listened to it for ages. I’m looking back on how much happier I am now compared to how I felt when I listened to this song all the time and it’s making me get really emotional. So, even though no one is probably going to read this poorly written spur-of-the-moment post I just want to say that I promise it gets better and that one day you could be sitting at your desk listening to a song realising how far you’ve come, no matter how far you have left to go. Now that MCR is back, I wish that I could tell them how much their music helped me and gave me something I could relate to back when I needed it the most, and that their music has helped me realise how much better I am now. And to all the kids out there who can’t see a way out, one day maybe you will be listening to a song that meant a lot to you and being glad that you can listen to it and reflect on how much more well you are.
