A collection of paper cut-out models representing brutalist architecture of London from 1960s-1970s. The series features various buildings scattered around the districts of Camden, Southwark and Tower Hamlet. The `raw concrete` London tour begins with iconic tower blocks (Balfron Tower and Space House), leads through council estates doomed to premature demolition (Robin Hood Gardens and Aylesbury Estate) and concludes with a classic prefab panel block (Ledbury Estate). 

From Yale’s 12 residential colleges boasting suites, common rooms, libraries, courtyards, and more, to the 22-building network of libraries, the surrounding campus filled with classrooms, and the city of New Haven offering coffee shops and public spaces of its own, there really is no shortage of study spaces on and around Yale’s campus. Whether reading a book in the comforts of your bedroom, or meeting in one of Bass library’s reservable group study rooms, the when and where of studying is left up to you.  Here is a brief compilation of popular study spots on campus, but this is by no means an exclusive list!

Not all data centers are the same. There are cloud storage mega-centers all over Silicon Valley that take care of our smartphone camera rolls and contacts lists. There are the NSA’s data centers, which do similar things but the permissions are (at least in theory) different.

In his series Deposit, Swiss photographer Yann Mingard reveals another type of data storage facility: the privately owned bunker space within which individuals, companies and even nation-states secure their most precious code, papers, and in some cases, genetic material. These data centers aren’t intended to intercept or analyze data; they’re merely meant to protect the contents from virus, loss and—most of all—from snooping.
