Domesticated silkmoths are tame things bred by humans over generations to become docile and otherwise unafraid of human touch. They're soft, fuzzy, tolerate, maybe even like being petted, but this is where my analogy begins to fall apart, for they only live for about three weeks and I intend to stick around for a bit longer.
