Nya - I would love to put Cole at first place, but it’s been taken by Nya since the pilots. Skybound. No more explanation needed

Cole - they went through so much and have known each other the longest (as in Cole met Jay first and vice versa), and it was said so many times theyre best friends

Zane - some likd of therapeutic relationship. Zane is always there as a listening ear (s6), and Jay is there to socially support him (pilots)

Kai - turns out the jokes he makes about Jay don’t place him so high, huh? Jk i love plasma and he ahouldve been 2nd place but i feel like their whole relationship is based on making fun of each other and theyre only close because of Nya (just canon based…. Plasma please be canon ill pay)

Lloyd - underrated duo that i would love to think has a lot of off-screen interaction (and if it was on-screen he wouldve been higher than Kai because Lloyd and Jay have so much in common— ehem their powers and interests) im honestly imagining Lloyd being so over love so he asks Jay who landed Nya for advice

Nya

Jay - maybe you wanted Kai to be here, because there’s nothing like family, but yall gotta understand Jay’s family too. Moreso, he’s chosen family! Anyways yeah i think thats pretty pbvious

Kai - even more obvious, theyre super close and while have a lot of communication barriers they always manage to be there for each other (dr and off-screen…… they were terrible example for siblinghood earlier seasons)

Lloyd - bonded over being left behind, then Nya was hurt when Lloyd became a primary ninja and she was still an outlier, then they bonded back after s6 because they wre both possessed. S9 definitely tightened their bond and since then Nya started rubbing off on him (s11 Lloyd is sooo Nya coded)

Cole - awkward… she’s dating his crush (yes its canon to me)… but if i have to be serious i guess the love triangle did bring them closer (after reconnecting, that is), and their talk in s5 is the cutest

Zane - what interaction? Did they? Ever have? In the show? I actually can’t have a scanario in mind. For real though they can bond over being excluded and reduced to what they are (woman/robot), and they both have exceptional taste in partners

Kai

Nya - like its even a question. Unlike his sister, he’s single and ready to put family first.

Lloyd - counts him as family, definitely adopted him atp, butttttt has known Nya for longer… sorry bud

Jay - this was super hard to choose but Kai’s too comfortable joking aboit him. He definitely feels theyre close

Zane - Kai is definitely more attracted to somebody that walks into a room and people feel it, and sorry but thats just not Zane. And im sorry i got a total blackout on any of Zane’s interactions. I had to youtube a “Zane once said” and was met with nothing to help me.

Cole - I still think Zane is closer than Cole because of how opposite Zane and Kai is, which leads them to be tne ultimate choice when going on missions (like s8) Zane is super thinking and Kai is impulsive. Cole? Cole would sell Kai for a regular chocolate cake. Not even with gnash frosting. Not to be “that person” but Kai and Cole totally only hang out because they like making fun of Jay (can you tell who my favorite cyaracter is? And how delusional am i?)

Zane - im not a big fan of tbem but i cant deny it. They just have a connection. Maybe its losing their parents at an early age, maybe its their parents choosing whats best for them without asking them (memories switch/dancing) maybe maybe maybe

Zane
