Ford Focus ad, featuring Archie Aster from Dream Along with Me, circa 2002.
Archie Aster is known for his beloved 1977 Ford LTD Landau. Despite being completely badgeless (due to probably copyright), Ford saw that as a nod. 25 years later since the start of the show, where the LTD was first debuted in the second episode of the show, Ford took it as an opportunity to promote the new Ford Focus.
They recreated the same ad that they have been making for the LTD, but with the key difference being, there is a constellation that says "2 5", and the most obvious being, the Landau was replaced with the Ford Focus.
Many fans of the show somewhat envisioned him as the driver of a Focus, rather than the LTD, despite the fact that the show always take place in the year 1984. The ad was later being seen as an easter egg in a horror movie based on the show.
It's been 2 years since I made the first drawing for Archie. I thought it would be wise to redraw it for my 130th fanart. And yes, I have counted.
