How odd I can have all this inside me and to you it’s just words.

I considered suicide, but I felt a strange fondness for my body, my life. Scarred as they were, they were mine.

One of the hardest things you will ever have to do my dear is grieve the loss of a person who is still alive.

You described her with such detail it made me wonder if you ever talked about me that way.

in the beginning, i was excited to kiss you good morning, cuddle during a movie.  we never left each others’ sides, practically attached at the hip. but then something changed.  you were becoming as necessary as my morning caffeine- something i couldn’t function without.  there was a sense of codependency, almost like neither of us could survive without the other.  it wasn’t love anymore.  it was need.

I remember crying over you and I don’t mean a couple of tears and I’m blue. I’m talking about collapsing and screaming at the moon.
