1: When did you lose your virginity?

Motherboard - So Motherboard’s on the older side and had an actual life before the war, but she didn’t lose her virginity until, I’d say, early/mid war, when she met her almost-wife, Superstructure! There’s actually a lot surrounding that part of MB’s backstory that I’m eager to go into but now isn’t the right time, I think. :3c

Shantytown - Not so sure on specifics of Shanty’s past but he probably lost his early on in life, since he was handsome pre-having his face removed, emotionally available, and borderline hedonistic. 

3: Do you have any unusual kinks/fetishes?

Motherboard - None that I can think of, she’s pretty tame atm.

Shantytown - Orgasm delay/denial

11: What does your favourite sexy underwear look like?

Motherboard & Shantytown - I imagine they have similar taste in terms of what they’d like to see on other people, which would be cute, creamy-colored lingerie, although Motherboard adores a bit of modesty while Shantytown can be trashy.

15: Most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to you during sex?

Motherboard - Probably just being very inexperienced despite her age in the beginning. That’s okay, Superstructure thought it was cute.

Arclight - See above, but probably never with any other combination of people. Except maybe Shantytown.

Lonsdale - No and not likely, but she does fuck w/ Fjord and Fjord can be persuasive.

Doublepunch - Can’t picture the scenario but it’s definitely something he’d have to have done in the past.

Fjord - Many, many in the past. Plenty in the present and future lmao

Motherboard - No and no.

Boneyard - Probably not yet but would love to!

Evergreen - No and not likely.

Shantytown - Yes, he’s really well-liked on the Acrux.

6. What are their greatest weaknesses, physical and mental?

Arclight’s actually relatively fragile. He’s built for speed, so direct hits could be potentially devastating. As you’d expect, his wings are sensitive, as are his ears/fins, but I think of those as weaknesses not in battle but in berth （´▽｀）

Worst mental weakness would be the slave coding. It’s simple to manipulate him if you use the right authoritative tone.

7. How would they be affected if they lost everything? What would they do?

Listen, I’ve thought about a scenario where Fubar kills Paladin (Paladin is Arclight’s ‘everything’), and Arclight would become so withdrawn and frigid he might as well not be anything at all. He leaves the rest of the team because he just /does not want/ to feel happy anymore. 

14. What’s physically the most painful thing that has happened to them?

Probably being almost beaten to death by Paladin’s troop when they first met? Paladin waited way too long to intervene. That literally would have been the end of him.

16. What regrets do they have?

On bad days he might regret staying with Paladin and the autobots rather than escaping and reuniting with Fjord. I’ve mentioned that Paladin is a little indifferent, and that really, legitimately hurts Arclight. Like, a lot. At least Fjord was dedicated to him. With Paladin, he always has to guess and it stresses him out and makes him feel undesirable.

3. How would they react to being stabbed in the back by the one they trust the most?

Blame himself, obviously!! Arclight would be the one he trusts most, so he’d definitely think back to everything he could have done better and wallow in his guilt. It would actually change his relationship with Arclight a lot. He’d go from obliviousness/indifference to pure devotion. He’d be desperate to fix things and get back into Arc’s good graces.

4. What would make them betray others?

The greater good, or, much less noble, being perceived as a hero. Paladin is all about sacrificing things for the greater good, and part of that actually stems from an obsession with being remembered or memorialized. He wants to be important. If he had the chance to do something great, that he knew would get people to remember him, he might– he /might/ feel compelled to betray others.

5. Is there some event in the past that they can’t let go of? What and why?

I’m a little fuzzy on Paladin’s past, so I can’t think of a great answer. It seems he’s always moving forward, so nothing in the past really bothers him too much. Although, and I haven’t thought about this much for whatever reason, he’d have to have taken it badly when Doublepunch was captured by Fubar. That whole scenario changed Doublepunch’s life for the worst, and Paladin would definitely take responsibility for what happens to his team. And Doubs is his oldest friend, and such a gentle soul, so I have to imagine it would infuriate him to no end to know that he couldn’t save him- not until it got /really/ bad. 

15. What’s mentally/emotionally the most painful thing that has happened to them?

MM… again, all I got is the scenario with Doublepunch. Paladin and Fjord both probably spent days on end, no sleep/minimal food, searching for any trace of Fubar. That was a horribly long, mentally trying time in his life. It went on for at least a year, I think.

12. If they got to choose, how would they like to die?

Arclight: Some kind of slow-bleeding wound or sickness, anything that gives him enough time to be with someone he loves (……Paladin). He wouldn’t care much if it was physically torturous, he’d just want to be able to pour his heart out and say his goodbyes.

🚗 - driving a car

LOL BUT... THEY /ARE/ CARS?

Fubar: Asshole who is oblivious to his surroundings. He drives rly slow and doesn’t use his blinkers. His base is cranked up and the music shakes his car. Someone might pick a fight with him if he didn’t look like an Actual Murderer.

Shantytown: Exact opposite. Always goes the speed limit and low key gets pissed off when people drive around him. Always on a classical music station but has the volume so low you just barely register it. The drive is awkward because he doesn’t say a word. (very different on a motorcycle tho ((he is a motorcycle)))

Motherboard: Fun mom who goes fast over the speed bumps and down hills but still makes everyone where their seat belt.

Boneyard: Rear-ends someone every time she drives a car because she’s impatient and full of energy and can’t stop tailgating. Has 1 million speeding tickets.

💃 - dancing

Fubar: DEFINITELY fantastic at it. You’d think he was a stripper. 

Shantytown: Would not dance if you threatened him at gunpoint. Boy is so stiff he can’t even do the robot.

Motherboard: Probably decent. She’s got a good flow and can move in time to music, but nothing intense lol. She likes it better slow.

Boneyard: She’s a maniac on the floor

👗 - dressing with style

Fubar: LMAO I hate myself for thinking this but I’m pretty sure if Fubar wore clothes, he’s always wear dudebro shirts that say stupid stuff like “same shit different day” and the like. Probably a fan of distressed skinny/straight jeans. Either wears boots or no shoes at all. In short: no he does not dress with style.

Shantytown: He’d be a formal kind of guy, I think, but a “disheveled and probably has anxiety” kind of formal. Like, dress shirts that have never been ironed.

Motherboard: HMM I think I can see her being stylish but quirky. She looks good but she always picks clothes with weird patterns, like, tiled animals or fruit. And probably mixes patterns. AND COOL JACKETS. That seems right.

Boneyard: Always oversized everything. She’s cute but her clothes never fit.

😏 - lying

Paladin: Very good at it and hates himself for it. He’d feel awful if he ever had to lie to someone he loved.

Arclight: Absolutely awful at it. Anyone who wasn’t totally oblivious could read his body language from across the room and know he was lying.

Doublepunch: Not as bad as Arclight but not good at it either. He’s just very honest. Lying doesn’t come naturally to him.

Lonsdale: Perfect liar, she has a straight forward and believable delivery.

Fjord: He’s not so much good at lying as he is just withholding information, which he usually opts to do instead. Probably a decent liar. Believable 50% of the time.

Boneyard: Would be a good liar if she knew where to stop, but she likes making up big stories. go big or go home.

Motherboard: I try not to make Motherboard good at everything but it’s not my fault she’s perfect. She’s a good liar, very mysterious. 

Fubar: I don’t know that Fubar ever lies about anything, but he’d probably be bad at it.

Evergreen: Probably just as good as Lonsdale.

Shantytown: On Doubs’s level. Shitty but at least he can try.

Sleepercell: Bad at lying b/c he’s a defeatist and he knows people would be able to see through him. He tries halfheartedly. 

🎁 - making gifts

I have to think back to before he got all fucked up. I’d say he was bad at it. He’s very practical-minded and doesn’t put any /heart/ into gifts. He’s the kinda guy that gets you kitchen appliances and never anything else. Bless his soul, he tries. Post mutation, he’s not making anyone any gifts lmao ...

🌷- taking care of plants/pets

Probably could do well with both, and probably very technical about it. Kinda makes me sad, idk if he’s ever felt love in his heart for anything OTL I can’t imagine him keeping plants/pets. Post mutation, definitely wouldn’t be able to keep the presence of mind to take care of anything.

🙊 - keeping secrets

Arclight: Pretty decent at keeping secrets, depending on who he’s keeping them from. If it’s requested of him to reveal what he knows by someone he sees as a master figure, he’s not likely to keep secrets. (whispers secret not-so-secret slave coding)

Fjord: You know what, definitely the worst at keeping secrets. He’s gossipy.

Paladin: Actually the best at keeping secrets. He wants to be everyone’s best friend, so he’s definitely an aggressive “you can trust me!” kind of guy. And he follows thru well on his word.

🔪 - melee weapons

Arclight: He’s a fantastic swordsman!! I can’t believe I’ve never drawn his sword. It’s… it’s his baby. He’s bloody fast and ruthless, IMHO… da bes. ♥

Fjord: He’s more stealth, avoidance and long-range, but he /was/ a commanding officer and I imagine him to be decent at hand-to-hand combat. Weapons, I’m not too sure about. I think he put his focus into ranged, and what he could spare into hand-to-hand if only because he may need it. So I’m gonna say 5/10 average with melee weapons.

Paladin: I’ve thought about this before! His mentor placed a lot of importance on his combat training. He’s small, (I have to mention that he’s small every time I talk about him lol) so it was important he be able to defend himself. He’s great with knives/daggers.

😠 - managing with their temper

Arclight: Bottles his anger in a self-destructive way. It appears he manages it well, but he’s really just internalizing it. 

Fjord: Shitty anger management!! He’s likely to have outbursts. He’s emotional and he does not hide it.
