the thing that i think some people get wrong about buffy summers is that... she is a deeply flawed character! every time i see someone posting about how "she can do no wrong" or "she's never done anything wrong in her life ever!" i die a little inside because yes! she is wrong sometimes! She can be be cruel and self-centered and self-absorbed at times and

that's what makes her a good character! she's so much more interesting because she has flaws! If she was perfect she would be boring! She is kind of a messed up individual and that's why she's so interesting to me! I want to see her be wrong and messy and human and complex and complicated!

Ok this is so silly goofy but what if the party was in a band and Mike was the lead singer but Will was the songwriter (and guitarist) so when they start to build a following a bunch of new fans who don’t know that Will is the one to write most of their songs just think that Mike is a narcissist because all of the songs are about falling in love with people who look and act like him. Bonus points if Mike absolutely does not realize all of these songs are about him. Extra bonus points if Dusting and Lucas are painfully aware that they are. Dustin and Lucas singing back up vocals like “ooh you’re so fine”, trying not to gag because Will is definitely the only one who sees Mike like that.

Also, in this universe, Will writes a heartbreaking love song but makes his sister, El, perform it for him because he’s too afraid to sing it himself, and Mike convinces himself that he’s in love with her after the performance because it was so moving and details exactly how he wants to be loved.
