Kai felt almost scared when Ollie grabbed his shirt, his passed with his father always made him scared about getting hurt. But he stood there and listened to the male, his hands ready to push Ollie away at any moment. Though he knew the boy wouldn’t hurt him, he was still on edge. As he listened, his heart sank a little when the boy said he was falling in love, he hadn’t heard thought words in a long time and it coming from Ollie made it special. “You’re what?” kai said as everything sunk in. “I don’t want you showing up at my house like this ever… Ollie.” Kai whispered as he grabbed onto Ollie’s hands tightly. “I missed you a lot and I know I fell for you and I fell hard.” He told the boy. “now tell me how I can I help get you away from all this?”

ollie didn't particularly think he would scare him and he had no intent on harming him at all. he heard the question and he sighed. “i think..no  i’m 99.9% sure i’m falling in love with you and it’s terrifying even but it’s happening and i think it has been since we met.” he said and he sighed and then he heard him and he nodded. “i didn’t particularly want to show up like this, it wasn’t my intention.” he said. he held back onto his hand and he held onto his hand. “i missed you a lot.” he knows he shouldn’t right now but he kisses him. “well i’m glad the feeling is mutual or i’d feel quite awkward.” he said and he shook his head. “i don’t know, i haven’t thought it through but.. right now can i maybe get cleaned up? i’m covered in cuts and they’re sort of covered in dirt as you can see and as much as i really want to keep kissing you, i’m sore as fuck.” he breathes that out in one breath.

Kai knew that forgetting Ollie would not be easy, a little least easy now that the male seemed to want to be back around, Kai thought about just shutting the door and leaving Ollie on the other side he knew with time he could forget the male who was stealing his heart, but he slowly moved away from the door and letting Ollie walk into his home. “Im your first thought now?” Kai shut the door and places his umbrella back in its holder before facing the boy again. “Why wasn’t I your thought four weeks ago? I don’t want to be your first thought just because you need somewhere to hide.” Kai shook his head. He was angry and hurt, and he was letting Ollie see that. But when he heard the male ask for help, Kai pointed down the hall. “You can shower and sleep on the couch. But be gone in the morning or tell me what really happened to you.”

ollie walked in slowly, he could tell he was mad and upset and hurt even but it’s not like ollie could help it. he moved his eyes on him as he sighed, he had an urge to rub at the wound above his eye because it was beginning to itch due to the dirt. but he grabbed hold of kai’s shirt. "you  are every goddamn fucking waking thought that i have, and have been since the minute i met you. " he said. "the fact that im here isn't about needing to hide. it's about the fact that you're the person i trust. and that terrifies me because trusting people isn’t what i do." he said. he was so tired and this was a bad idea. coming here was a bad idea and he knew it. especially right now.  "you wanna know what happened? okay. well first of. im right hand man in a gang, because they took me in when i first got here because i had nothing and no one. and i was on a job, for the past four weeks. it went wrong and i got the shit kicked right out of me because i wasn’t paying attention. all because i was far too eager to get back to you when i thought it was over. because i missed you. and i don’t even wanna do shit like that anymore because of you, because i want to be good for you and deserve you and  i’m talking too much because i think i’m falling in love with you and that’s the scariest fucking thing i’ve ever done, and now i can’t stop talking because this is the most open and honest i’ve ever been with a person.” he let go of his shirt.  

Kai had been in and out of sleep since the moment he got home. Sleeping on the couch was never a good idea. It was uncomfortable and the street light always shined in through the window. Just as he drifting off once again he heard the light knock, it was so light Kai almost thought it was in his dream. But the young man stood from the couch and looked at the clock on his over “2 am, how the hell is here at 2 am.’ the boy thought to himself. He grabbed his umbrella as a ‘weapon’ as he slowly opened his door, the umbrella ready to swing the moment someone moved, but that was when he saw Ollie and his ‘weapon’ fell to the floor. “What are you doing here?” He asked the younger, now blonde male. “what happened to you? Ollie we have to call someone.” Kai said, trying to keep his voice calm, but he knew he was failing the more he looked over the boy, how was finally back in front of him.

ollie was ready to give up, just about when he heard grumbling from the other side of the door, it was like prayers were answered and when the door opened he saw the umbrella and he licked at his lip and stared at him until it dropped to the floor. "honestly?" he asked. "you were my first thought." he said and every thought, maybe that was why his leaving the other city had gone wrong. he'd been too eager to get back to see him. though now he heard his voice and the concern or panic in it he was slightly regretting coming here because he could potentially be putting him in danger. "uh, rough few da- weeks i should say." he said. "know i don't have the right to ask, and i can explain, but can you help me please?" he asked him. you could hear in his voice just how exhausted ollie was but he knew that kai deserved an explanation.
