Hello! I hesitated to make this post a lot, but I'm reaching a breaking point.
I'll soon get my first tattoo pen ๐ฅฐ I'm so very excited! I've been doing everything to live of my art for the past 7 years but I never got to earn enough to do so. I decided to try the last thing I always wanted to do and become a tattooist this year. It was initially my goal when I finished my studies but things got in the way. Now I get the chance to go for it, so I want tattooing to be my job as quickly as possible because it's my last artistic resort.
I'm spending my last saved money for this, which means a lot of stress and financial difficulties. It's never easy to ask for help, which I've been avoiding to do for years, but now I can't keep living in denial. So, if anybody can help me getting there, I'll take any given support ! For the occasion, I'm taking some low price commissions (exemples below).
To be fully transparent, lately I earn approximately 150$ per months by taking commissions (and I can't thank my regulars enough for this <3) and every 3 months I have to pay 950โฌ (~ 1,1K $ US) for social security contribution + VAT on the side, and that's only counting the work related charges. I have no other source of income. I've been relaying on commissions and my savings (which are quickly running low). I'm lucky to have someone to buy me food and give me a roof but as times are getting rougher, this situation won't be viable for much more long. The goal here is to get the time to learn tattooing, buying all the stuff I'll need (material, hygiene course,...) and paying for charges if I can.
