⊿ - Coming to visit them

The watchtower crew who patrol the island were on close standby, especially recently with the loss of one of her vessels - the Captain upped security and longer shifts too, with the assumption there were either thieves among her bunch or a stowaway. 

Even when that was found to be a misunderstanding and the vessel disappearance was an ex matesprits’ impulsive need for adventure, her paranoia for intruders hadn’t subsided. 

Perhaps it was her psychic abilities kicking in - despite severing her fate long ago and not having a ‘direct’ future - sometimes she’d still have a gut feeling and at this point, she had sailed many seas to know when a storm was coming. 

The late afternoon was breaking into dusk and to soothe her mind she’d take the time after her shift in the blacksmithy to clean up and go for a ride in her yacht. Regardless of the cold demeanor often worn by Mindfang, the only place she found joy was in her water home, naturally kicking her feet up and opening a bottle of beer as the sun dipped into the ocean.

What she didn’t like however, was the sight of a smile in the darkness. “What the shit?” The Captain’s usual bravado faltered for an inch of a second to shock, turning her chair to look at the transportaliser behind the control room she was in to see how they got in so silently, or had they always been there before she got here? 

She was too far away for the watchtower crew to see what was going on, but either way, even if she was concerned and practically trapped on a vessel with a maniac, her face would state otherwise. 

She’d present herself as unbothered - arrogantly cocky in her own strength to be unphased by a possible threat. If anything she seemed to have been taking this a little too lightly when she’d regain composure.

“Come sit here,” She’d tap the co-pilot chair beside her which was occupied by her feet a few moments prior.
