edit because confusion and i didnt word it well because i wrote this quickly, but im talking very broadly and i understand its much deeper/complicated than this. its just my view on everyones more simple royal or rebel definition. NOT a full analysis/classification/anything like that

the perfect princess, apple white!! i love her design so much, and she was one of my favourites even as a kid (but i used to get mad they always reset her redemptions). i wanted to add gala in here but remembered too late so just picture it okay? apple was sosooo fun to draw i loved doing her hair and im SO happy about the way this turned out! hope you all enjoy 🍎

ravens og is very nice i like it alot.. the only things i would change to her original outfit is her hair and neckpiece. (and very personally giving her a little matching friendship necklace with maddie). the collar is meant to resemble her mothers but that’s exactly why i dont think it fits well. raven still has alot of love for her mother as shown in the storybook of legends and the unfairest of them all. she wants to confide in her mother and seek comfort from her even though she disagrees with her actions and is resentful because of the way she was treated by her mother as a child. she still recognises its from a place of love though. i like how complex their relationship is in the books it feels so real and raw. however, raven hates looking like her mother, even refusing to wear her mothers legacy day outfit and swapping it out for her own despite the deep rooted tradition in it (not like she cares much for that though.) like its stated explicitly a few times how upset she gets over being referred to as looking like her mum! i really dont think she would wear a matching evil queen collar. and i just personally hate her OG hairstyle and think her ponytail from dragon games suits her much better. otherwise, i think she is generally written and potrayed well. in the books though, she got nevermore much sooner than dragon games, before legacy day even arrived but its not brought up again but thats just a personal peeve of mine, especially because i loved the whole animal companion thing, and i thought gala fit apple extremely well too.. i also love how much of like a “goth teen” she is!! always listening to music/really into bands, her guitar obvs, if im remembering correctly she writes music as well, shes so creative i love its so simple but to me it adds so much depth to her, especially with the hard and stubborn front she can kinda be given.. shes not my favorite but i have so many thoughts.

HELLO this is my raven queen redesign 💜 i plan to do the whole cast but she was first.. i do love 90% of her original design but i didnt want to draw basically the same thing and just axe what i dont like/dont think suits her so i decided a more casual outfit was in order. i love raven alot, especially her in the books, shes super awesome and i have so many small drabble ideas/headcanons for her id could talk about for hours.. anyway hope u guys enjoy the redesign! (also haha feel free to ask me abt any of my headcannons or design choices i really would love to talk about them)
