scattered thoughts after finishing Fairy’s Got Talent (no particular order, but be warned of spoilers):
i LOVE Farrah Goodfairy idc what anyone says. characters who are humble and have a heart to serve others are a beacon to me
Dark Fairy’s thing about light instead of hiding in shadows is such a cool little detail
Faybelle? why r u so obsessed with Farrah?
interesting how Faybelle implies that there is no other fairy godmother in her story, bc she’s the one who curses Briar to sleep for 100 years. technically she’s supposed to curse Briar to, um, die. instead, we are told that fairy godmothers have relatively weak magic and aren’t involved in SB at all. sus
if Farrah had that role she could’ve been Faybelle’s rival for a stronger reason. and it would mean the midnight decree could just be an arbitrary law that limits fairy godmother powers outside of their stories bc they really should be very powerful

i love how Fay goes on and on about her agenda against Briar and then has not a single interaction with the latter for the entirety of this book
personally not a fan of the Dark Fairy being the queen of all fairies thing. first of all bc i assume the fairy world HAS to be bigger than that (it’s my same problem with Snow White being queen of all Ever After in the show) and second bc it is too close to Maleficent being the poster villain for Disney
how can Fay be roomies with Bunny who only showed up like halfway through the school year? who did Grimm kick out for this to work
cheerhexing squad is so fun. i do wish we had more fairy characters to round them out a bit more but oh well!
