Artofsiga.tumblr.com is where the new blog is at. Unfortunately I lost access to my old blog. I tried changing the email address attached to it and goofed with a typo. Since there isn’t a second field to confirm the new email address it accepted it and booted me off. Since I can’t guess what the typo is I’ve no way of logging on again haha. Luckily my phone remains logged in but I can’t check or change emails from the tumblr app so one I sign out this is it. Come watch me build it again pals! ;)

OverWatch Minimal Tracer Print, 

After playing the overwatch beta i had to show this game some love. I haven’t enjoyed an fps as much as this in so long, not since Timesplitters2.

Zelda U Link! The Hero in Blue

Ever since E3 2014 i promised myself i wouldn't get hyped for this game until it was almost out. to spare myself some pain. But Nintendo are finally showing this off at E3 and the hype is setting in for me, so i blasted this painting while live streaming and liked it a lot so now it's a print, just for you! how rad :)

Twilight Princess Diorama 

continuing on with the videogame dioramas! I really enjoyed painting this one. decided to make a super wide crop of it since i thought it could stand on it’s own two! 

Dat zelda 2017 delay though :/ i’m both happy and sad about that :( :D  It’ll turn out to be a better game, though i really would of liked to play it this year haha.

Captain America Civil War: T’challa the black panther. 

So I had the chance to catch civil War  last night... it was incredible! i was so impressed with how black panther and spiderman turned out. I so can’t wait for their solo films. so here’s a sketch i did while the hype was flowing strong within me.  Black panther is literally the smoothest cat. 

Video game Diorama - Dancing Darunia (Ocarina of Time)

Another to add to the Video game Diorama painting set! it continues to grow! never thought i’d ever be commissioned to paint darunia throwing mad shapes on the dance floor, but here we are :) this is also a print!

Sheik Speedpainting, video process 

I’ve gotten into the habit of turning on screen record whenever i’m drawing or painting now. Even though this was intended as a little morning jam I actually liked how it came out. :) Really like that loose brushwork.

This may be my way of easing the pain of waiting on some new zelda U information.

Batman v Superman Wonder Woman painting

Despite what all the critics say i actually loved BatmanvSuperman. And i loved the soundtrack even more. Hans Zimmer is a total badass.   Wonder Woman is my gal, The only critique i have of her is that gal gadot needs to put on a bit of muscle. that and add the colour back into her outfit. That flat all bronze look is painful. Why do movie makers hate colour so much these days?

Mega man vs Pharaoh Man Commission (video process)

This is another piece to add to the videogame commission set, It’s also a print on my Society6. So far the line up of these paintings has been rad, glad to see the man in blue join the list. Decided it’d been a while since i had recorded anything for the ol’ youtube so i managed to grab the process for this painting if anyone is interested.

Batman vs Superman wonder woman sketch  So caught the film the other day and personally i think it’s great. it has some pacing issues but other than that i’d say its a legit film!  did this sketch while listening to the soundtrack. Sage of Light, Rauru. Re-Design (Ocarina of Time)

This is a re-design of that ol’ sage of light from ocarina of time I painted for the current art jam over at Character Design Challenge on Facebook check it out and join in! This painting is based on the idea of him having more of a combat role within the game. There’s a lot of sneaky references in this that i’ve hidden, see if you can spot them ;)

Crimson Crescent - Character design work. 

Here’s some character stuff I was working on before i got sick last week. Some concept work for a father and son. it’s for a story i’m developing for a lil personal project of mine, I’m code-naming it Crimson Crescent until I solidify  some more of the story elements for a proper name. The designs are still subject to change but it’s nice to make some progress on them.

Lance Stross (top) Limbos Condor (bottom) all the characters and stuff i’ll introduce will probably have more cheesy codernames for a long while lololol!

Love the design on the fathers cape though! wish i had one in real life! 

Personal Project Character Concept. 

I’ve been sick as a dog the past few days so I’ve legit just been laying in bed thinking about characters and projects and stuff. Gonna start posting more of this stuff real soon once I develop it a bit more. 

Here’s a design for a character that i dreamed up, she still needs some tweaking but i’m super happy with the direction she’s taking. not sure what her name is yet so her development name is Ralda Pinewood because of the green in the colour palette
