Hand drawn picture as usual! This is the daughter of Quinine (protagonist of last game) and mother of Shine (relevant due to the story). She is not an angel, even if she were creatures don't exist in my universe in their traditional context since everything is born from humans.
She will be the protagonist of my next game, the only one without a boyfriend as the game is about her getting in a relationship with a death fairy.
The obligatory love interest for Shine, he is a healing nature fairy. He gives himself for shine, I like him. He's not my kinda man, but he doesn't need to be.
I drew this at work on my break. It is the spell Kared is casting to stop the slip from collapsing completely. It is the only reason the segment of the slip is still standing.
Though inverted crucifixes are a Dine thing, the penragarn is a Mordidine thing, and Kared follows Mordidine, not Moridine.

Final update before the demo. There are still glaring issues, but these are minor (as far as code is concerned), and I am fairly certain they will be resolved by the time the game is released. Additionally, I want to show this off one last time because when I release the demo, it's gonna look different.
This are representative of the class types as neither look like this naturally though either can. Most named classes of these types look like regular humans.
This is my game for Pride Month!!!!!! There is a lot of shit here and the video is just a brief overview. Also, here are two of the bosses and the protagonists lover, sorry I mean CLOSE CLOSE CLOSE friend.
Though it is a complete game with lore it's own plot and unique characters I need to stress my engine is still early in development so there is much work to be done.

So, I have submitted my build for steam review, and the game is currently playable on itch. I'm gonna post about it now.
I added these new enemies. They are part of the corrupt church. Corrupt magically, they were always kinda evil, so their evil behavior surprises nobody. The demonic transformations and the shadow people are what scare others.
The one to the left is wearing a slightly modified version of Quinine's high priestess (high maiden) set as she was a high priestess before being banished. All priestess have a unique headset with the exception of sprites that repeat obviously. It's not a lore thing more of a style thing. Also, Quinine becomes more demonic when she becomes prismatic nightmare. This happens in the game, but you don't see her grow wings and become ethereal.
These two lower priestesses wear the same outfit as the caster. I didn't do much planning because had I known I was gonna add the more demonic priestesses like I wanted, I would have made the boss more demonic herself.
Mind you, this is just one faction full of infighting. The actual games have little to do with the church. It just so happens this protagonist is a part of it this time around. It won't be common. Wasn't the case in the last game, and it won't even be the case in the next game.

This is a bullet hell platforming RPG about a priestess rescuing a city from multiple factions by purifying enough shrines around the world
Another faction post, this is the main immoral faction. I say immoral because Sadi (the bottom and leader of the faction) is a playable character in a previous game, and I plan on having a zealot be the protagonist of another. So they aren't 100% antagonists. The two up top are sisters, one is the final boss, and the other is for a side quest. It's worth noting that though they are pretty explicitly evil, they have no inverted crucifixes in their design, unlike the church faction.
These are enemies you fight in the game that actually represent the faction. Most of them borne from Sadi herself except the watcher, which is a mix between undead and Sadiline. The fallen angel (one with the wings) grows into a lord (the one with braids). The two that look kinda like Sadi are straight up shallow copies of her. The fallen angel and watcher do have an inverted crucifix. There's a bit to that, but eh...
The symbol on her and the enemies represent the estate she belongs to and, more specifically, the head of their family, which isn't Sadi actually. She's just a member who got insanely powerful.
I did about as much work on this map as I think I'm gonna do for a while. It's more just a concept and I want to start working on the individual areas and new characters.
