The Family Transformed is a PSA that is made to promote support and acceptance for trans individuals out there, particularly young kids and teenagers who really look to their parents to be that support system when they are going through such important points in their lives.

We searched online for parents of transgender individuals that were willing to share their experiences and advice so that other parents, families members, and allies of trans individuals can hear their message and better understand how they too can learn how to support accept their own loved one's gender identity.

Please like and reblog our message, we need young transgender individuals to hear this message and know that they aren't alone in their struggle and even if their own family has not always been the best support, there are people out there that care and understand what they are going through.

Hello, our group here at CSUCI is working on a new PSA for the trans community.

Our PSA focuses on interviews with parents of trans kids. We want to hear different parent's perspectives on what it was like raising trans kids and how they supported their children growing up.

 We are currently in the process of searching for any parents that are interested in being a part of this project. We are mainly looking for parents in the So-cal area for in-person interviews, but we can also schedule a skype interview if you are out of our area.  The interviews won't be more than about a half-hour or so of your time so please consider contributing to our project!

Side By Side is PSA made to support trans teens and youth. This PSA highlights how important it is to have a supportive environment growing up for transgender children and teens. Side By Side tells the story of Alex and Taylor. Alex grows up in an environment that accepts and supports her decisions about her identity. While Taylor grows up in an environment that represses and rejects their feelings about who they are. The two grow up side by side both with different outcomes. Vimeo
