Silence. My cue to interveve. Sigh. "more than just a mistake?" i added finally. "yes" The coffee swirled itself in a lazy spiral. Cream and dark foam intermixed with eachother, an achingly desperate bid to swirl itself into an abyss -the paper cup making it but a forlone fantasy. Wheels within wheels. The intricacy of the ebbs and flow of a thousand subtle actions can be a burden on the soul. The train sped by, grinding metal on metal. A pungent smell of diesel fumes migling with the sea spray marked it's passing. As the giant behemoth laboured on, I saw the crows that it had disturbed. The crows soon settled in on a distant carcass of a runover cat, trying perhaps to bring it back to life? Sigh. Irony is a hard pill you damn cat, I reflected.You always seem to run out of lives - be it feline or human.
