But I see your accusation of transphobia and raise you that my two lesbian friends also believe that transgenderism is a mental disorder and should be treated as such. Homophobia and transphobia are unrelated and many homosexuals are actually waking up to this nonsense.

Hypothetical situation #1:

I’m walking through airport security with my daughter. I’m taking her to Disney World. For whatever reason, and this does happen because I’ve seen videos of it, my daughter is selected for a random pat-down. I, as a woman and a mother, have the right to specifically request a female TSA agent to perform the pat-down on my daughter’s body.

Your “wife,” strolls up as the “woman” that is being provided to me by the airport to touch my daughter.

I reiterate my request for a woman to perform the pat-down because I do not want a man, with a penis, to fondle my kid.

I have that right and you and your husband’s FEELINGS trample the shit out of it.

I am savagely raped by my brother, and two of his friends, whom I live with.

I go to a WOMEN’S SHELTER seeking comfort FROM MEN.

When I arrive, I see that my bunkmate is indeed a man. I proceed to have a full-blown anxiety attack. As administration arrives, they inform me that I am being transphobic and that if I wish to stay at the women’s shelter, I will simply have to “deal with” the fact that person sharing my bed is a “woman” with a penis.

I have the right to a women-only space and you and your husband’s FEELINGS trample the shit out of it.

My friend is a lesbian. My friend was also molested by her cousin as a child and has a genuine fear of penises. She meets a “girl” whom she really likes. When my friend and this person go to have sex for the first time, my friend discovers that this “girl” has a penis.

My friend says, “I’m sorry I can’t do this.”

Trans: why not?

Friend: I’m a lesbian.

Trans: obviously you’re not because I’m a woman.

Friend: you have a penis.

Trans: so?

Friend: I don’t like penises, I’m a lesbian.

Trans: then you’re not a lesbian, you just fetishize vaginas. If you were a real lesbian, you would like all women regardless of their genitalia.

And in one grand swoop you completely diminished lesbianism (and all sexuality, quite frankly) down to a genital fetish.

In conclusion:

You have the ability to /believe/ anything. You can /believe/ in Santa Claus, if you so choose, but that doesn’t make him real (I’m sure you have said those same words to religious people, right?).

That being said, I have the RIGHT (I think you should learn what “rights” are) to NOT be touched by a man whenever I choose to.
