I Hate Tuesdays : Ep2
The Start Of Chaos.
"Soulmated so hard we're together in every universe..."
First Unoffical Date?
When Rouge opened the door and saw the situation her son was in, soaked to the bone with a dumb smile on his face, she closed the door after he stepped inside and turned to him with an angry look.
"Ace, where were you? You didn't even answer my calls!" Rouge raised her voice slightly, worry etched on her face.
"I'm sorry mom, I didn't hear when you called. The bus was packed." Ace replied with an apologetic smile on his face, lying through his teeth, he knew she was just worried about his safety so he didn't pay any mind when she raised her voice.
"I was worried sick, Ace! You could've at least sent a message!" Rouge cried out, placing her hands on her hips.
"I know, I know. I'm so sorry for making you worried, mom." Ace apologized again, but this time he took her hand in his since he couldn't hug her while water was dripping down from his clothes.
"I'll make us some hot chocolate after I shower, and then we can enjoy it together, okay?" Ace offered with a smile, nudging his mother's side. And Rouge couldn't stay mad at him for long, she sighed with a smile and Ace placed a big wet kiss on her cheek before he ran away.
Ace was in a good mood, anyone who looked at him could tell. He was walking to his class with a wide smile plastered on his face, greeting everyone he knew. He was hoping to greet her if he saw her by any chance, but unfortunately he didn't. With a sigh, he walked to his aircraft introduction lesson, wondering why he never saw her when he was searching for her. The class was boring, but Ace managed to focus, his narcolepsy hit him somewhere in the middle but he was woken up by his professor after some time. Well, it wasn't Ace's fault his professor had the voice tone of a lullaby. The torture went on for so long before they were dismissed, and Ace's stomach was begging a little too loud for food.
He walked inside the bustling cafeteria, taking a tray before he got in line. After a long while of waiting, he finally took his food and searched somewhere to sit. When his eyes catched a familiar blue head sitting on his own, a smile appeared on his face and made his way over him.
"Yo, Deuce!" Ace called out with a grin, pulling the chair in front of Deuce and sitting down, placing his tray on the table in front of him. Deuce looked up and spared him a side eye before he smiled back, they did their usual handshake before he kept eating.
"How's it going, future pilot?" Deuce asked, chewing on a meatball as he looked at Ace who was stuffing his mouth with food.
"Bad, since mid-terms are coming."
"Yeah, don't even remind me." Deuce sighed, he was studying graphic designing, and he still had to complete that newspaper before mid-terms.
Deuce and Ace catched up since they didn't come across eachother often. Then Ace switched to a topic he wanted to talk so much about.
"So, Deuce, do you know (name)?" Ace asked with a nervous smile, cursing himself for not asking about her full name yesterday. Deuce looked confused for a second, raising an eyebrow in question as he thought about it.
"You mean the car freak (name)?" Deuce asked back, well, he didn't know much about her and he wasn't sure if he and Ace were talking About the same person.
"Car freak?" Ace questioned with a confused face, why on the earth did she go by that? "Is that an inside joke or what?"
"Well, there was an inter-university race car design competition, her design got a huge amount of points from the judges. Our school won the 1st place award out of 17 universities, I wrote about her and her design in the school magazine. That's why most of the people calls her a car freak, I think it's pretty cool though." Deuce explained, he had talked to her an few times about the design she made and how she did it before writing the article. And (name) was someone that, well, she doesn't like the attention too much. Ace's mouth was agape as he listened Deuce, he had no idea something like this happened. Well, maybe because he didn't bother reading the school magazine every 3 weeks. He was amazed, no, he was more than amazed. But he couldn't find the right word for it.
"Why do you want to know about her anyway?" Deuce asked, raising an eyebrow.
"No reason, I was just curious." Ace replied with a shrug, Deuce thankfully didn't ask much further, Ace changed the topic quickly, both of them falling in another conversation.
After he walked out of the cafeteria and seperated ways with Deuce, Ace walked towards the spot where students hitchhiked. His class had been cancelled due to some important work the professor had suddenly so Ace had no reason stay in school anymore. After waiting for a while, he saw a familiar looking car coming by, the car slowed down to a stop before the window of the passenger's seat rolled down. Ace leaned down to look at her face, a smile playing on his lips.
"Where to?" (name) asked, facing Ace after she the the bag that was on the the passenger's seat to the back seat.
"Why do I always see you when I expect the least?" Ace questioned with a shake of his head, (name) only shrugged in response.
"Do you want me to drop you off to your house again?"
"If it wouldn't be a problem."
"I wouldn't have asked if it was a problem." (name) replied with a smile, and with that, Ace opened the door and got inside the car. (name) started to drive, they got out of the school's gates, (name)'s playlist playing at the background. Ace was silent for a while before he turned to her with an easy smile plastered on his face.
"On second thought, do you want to go and hang out in a cafe?"
