An Ordinary Hope

Oh no, it's that creepy Komaeda guy again. Makoto remembered meeting him before, and always managed to weird Makoto out each time they interacted. Perhaps they had changed? Who knows, but Makoto plans to avoid this other SHSL Luck as much as he can.

Now something in the school certainly felt odd today. Could someone have perhaps died? No no, it wasn't the right type of gloom. Maybe someone burnt up the kitchen again? No, Makoto did not see any smoke earlier when he searched for a snack. What was it? Well, whatever it was, Makoto wanted to find out.

Squints at his phone for a really long time. Okay, he's never using the mass messaging system ever.

"Boohbahs are these weird things from the Teletubbies. My sister watched it when she was really young."
