To this, she turned to the others.

Iâm not sure if Iâm going to be using Minnie for anything else, so for a fun little thing while we wait to see the dead mastermind, how about the down to clown mastermind? (tw for stabbing, depression)
And suddenly, the trial had come to a screeching halt. All of the angry voices, all of the accusations, they all ended as abruptly as they began. The last vote was tallied, the response was overwhelming. Despite all the indifferences that the mutual killing had bred among you, you had come to a clear and decisive decision on one factor: Minerva LaFleur had been the orchestrator of this madness.
Yet, it was not what appeared to be a madman who was at the forefront of all of this. Through the entirity of the accusations, though Minerva had been stirred to partial anger if only by the nature of the accusations, her expression had mellowed once before, as if this was nothing, that she felt nothing. And then, a sound. Her palms met against one another to produce a sincere clap, she was applauding you all in your efforts to band together and catch her. But...this was sincere, there was no hint of malice or sarcasm behind the expression, nor in the features of her face.
âCongratulations, you have graduated,â the clown woman smiled to them.Â
This...this still made no sense. She was the mastermind? But for what purpose, what cause did she represent? She had always been so non-confrontational, so peaceful, what stirred her to commit the biggest grievance against the human race to you, a mere high school student?
Though none spoke this concern, the hivemind of the juggalos seemed to creep into your mind, dissecting your thoughts. She dismissed them with a wave, and another smile.
âNow, now, we shall have time for questions later. Come, you must be weary from your journey,â
And gathering her skirts, Minerva twirled on her toes and retreated to the back of the courtroom, towards the door which opened only for murderers. How fitting that it snapped open for her. With an ever innocent smile, she beaconed for the rest of you, and you must be crazy to have followed her.
But inside the room was not set up a ritual for bloodspilling, instead it was a quaint sitting room, complete with comfortable plush couches for everyone and table overfilling with tea and snack cakes. Minerva took a seat at the front of the scene, her chair looking more akin to a throne than anything, and the way she commanded herself upon such a seat seemed to fit.
⪠⪠âŞ
âWherever should we begin, we know you are all expecting much from us. Hmm, well you must have read the papers, yes? You know the experiment has been going on for oh too long. Now, did anyone manage to unearth the secret of our experiment?â
No response.
âOh dear, but donât think poorly of yourselves, just finding our identity is worthy enough as a passing grade, the rest is extra credit so to speak. Ah, so we will have to start at the very beginning,â
âMuch is known about our work to you all, even before you knew we conducted such experiments, you knew we worked to instill peace among our children. But peace from what? Well, not all is well among our flock, you see. Some have strayed, stained themselves with blood. Many of our flock resemble wolves rather than the purity of sheep. And yes, even our blood was among the spilled, and the children rebelled against their all-loving mother. But, divinity comes when you least expect it,â
âYou see, in our hospital room, despair began to creep into our mindset. It infected everything we thought, everything we were. It was...disgusting. But, it came with a gift, for no darkness is without light. We...simply stopped. It was magical, for all too long we were in limbo, in stasis, in...emotional apathy.â
âBut we couldnât contain our mind in Nirvana for too long, just as Icarus soon pummeled from the sky as he soared to the sun. But the effect was not lost, dear ones, and it was a beautiful development to have. Our experiments began not long after we enrolled in Hopeâs Peak, and others came to our side to help in our divine work. You see, dear ones, this was the next step, this was to be humanityâs next evolution. A world without pain, without fear, and without bloodshed.â
Get Ya Wicked On | Minnie | Chapter 5 Trial | RE: Lots of stuff
Minnie honestly wasnât sure what she was supposed to do now. Yuzuki had sincerely asked her not to attack Ryou verbally (and probably had asked her not to physically hurt him too), but if she wasnât mad at Ryou, who was she mad at? At the moment, Yuzuki and Akira. They had no right to tell her to calm down when she was feeling all of this, not after she had given into Minervaâs will for so long, keeping her from getting upset. But no, who was she kidding, she was still furious at Ryou.
âAre ya not gonna listen to me at all cause I got mâ panties in a bunch? Look, whatever, I know ya hate me beinâ mad, but maybe ya should actually listen when âm talkinâ instead of sayinâ I got a long way to go to convince you,â
âApparently, Tsutomu got him drunk a while back, anâ I canât remember their exact wordinâ, but they said that he wanted people to see reality as it was, âr somethinâ. Really? Of all the words, he used reality, the name of our mastermind, anâ ya think itâs a coincidence.â
âOr how about thâ fact that thâ mastermind said for the old lady to treat Saki-chan like a princess. Saki-chan is a wonderful person anâ everyone should love her, but thereâs a difference between keepinâ an eye on her anâ treatinâ her like a princess.â
âOr, I know, how about thâ fact that the blond dead guy slept with the old lady to make our mastermind mad, and right at the drop of a hat, Shinpissu gets mad,â
But there was more in what the others were saying, something else that sounded like something all too familiar.
âUm, hello? Hey, listen!â she imitated a certain annoying fairy. âDoes the alternate personality sound familiar? Or maybe the fake personality? Yeah, it should. Remember the first trial, Shin-kissu-my-a** berated thâ kid with green hair for killing the girl with black hair. He went out of his ever-mother-f***inâ way to make them feel like s*** and iced the doodoo cake by saying that he was going to tell their sisters. Who does that but someone with serious issues? It took meââ
Minnie paused, looking a bit out of herself.
âI mean, it took Minerva yellinâ at him to get him to even say sorry,â
She wanted to argue more, to avenge her friend, but it was difficult. She wasnât Minerva, she wasnât. Maybe they needed her, though, they wouldâve listened to Minerva.

If the dimming lights and the change to Soraâs buttons were to be trusted, it appeared that they were successful in beginning the mastermind trial. Now there was only a set amount of time before they could execute Ryou and get back to whatever sort of lives they led outside of this place. They were so closeâŚMinnie squeezed Reneeâs hand to remind her that she was still there for her. She was being so brave, so Minnie had to be brave for her.Â
Renee for some reason or another had saved Minnieâs life while she was infected, now if Minnie could get Ryou onto the chopping block, then perhaps she would repay her. This was her chance to be useful.
âSaki-chan, I consider ya a good friend anâ I really owe ya my life for keepinâ me goinâ while I was sick, but ya got no right to try ân calm me down. Considerinâ how calm âve been through this entire s*** f***, I kinda got a right tâ be mad at thâ guy who was indirectly responsible for killinâ two of mâ friends, ruininâ all our lives, puttinâ my friend through a mental breakdown, anâ torturinâ all of our families, cause I know I ainât thâ only one who got one of those tapes. Sâ yeah, maybe you should back off,â
âI donât have much, but I do know bits of what Tsutomu told me. I know that Shitjitsu got tipsy one night anâ told Tsutomu how they wanted other people to see thâ Reality oâ life or whatever. I also know that the entire point of Takumi sexinâ up that old lady was to make the mastermind mad, and loâ and behold he was thâ only one who got hot and bothered by that. Thatâs jusâ from what I remember, but pretty much everythinâ I heard pointed toward Shinjizzu,â
âSo yeah Akira-chan, do me a favor and hit my vote for I-hate-all-happiness-ju,â
Night of The Chainsaw | Minnie | Trial 5 Opening | ATTN: You know who
Finally, the time had come for them to gather and talk over this circumstance. Of course, Minnie had nothing to go on about the murder, but she had more than enough evidence about who the mastermind was, as did Akira. But still, what did it matter if Tsutomu wouldnât be able to escape with them?
Taking Reneeâs hand, Minnie followed her to the trial room and crossed over to her side of the court, not willing to return to where Tsutomu once wouldâve stood by her. But she was no longer sad, just angry.Â
âLook, I know this ainât gonâ sit well, but we gotta talk âbout thâ mastermind. Donât ya dare think fer a secâ this is outta disrespect for thâ dead, âd never do that to Tsutomu. But I believe theyâd want us to get outta here by now, anâ they left us witâ more than enough to expose the mastermind.â
âSâ letâs meet the douche shall we? Ladies 'n gentlemen thâ human manifestation of all feces, RYOU SHINJITSU!â
She yelled, slamming her hand down to the podium, shooting him daggers.
âAnd what dâ ya do with garbage besides burninâ it? Anyone got a match? Iâll get us started!â
She looks pissed enough to literally light Ryou on fire. Anyone wanna stand up and tell her to chill out?
There were a lot of controversies to what Minnie had said, and maybe it was good that it went down this way. It was good that no one wanted Asaâs death to be in vain, or at least overlooked. And it was a tragedy that they were in this position, but sheâd like to think that maybe this would be for the best.
But at the same time, hearing the orator speak gives her a bubbling fear in her. She looks to Tsutomu, who she only recently released from her love grip..
âWhâwhy are ya so mad, Shinjitsu-san? Ya literally jusâ did what ya asked us ta do. Yer sayinâ not to talk âbout thâ dick behind all this 'till we got Asa-sanâs death figured out then ya tell us 'oh itâs jusâ a suicideâ. Yer not makinâ senseâŚâ
âSoâŚI guess all we gotta do is jusâ talk out who thâ dick really is. Look, if anyone has any proof or theories, ya need to speak up. But if yer scared to, jusâŚfind some way to get thâ message to me. Iâll keep your identity secret. I donât give two s***s if thâ master-behind tries ta hurt me,â
âExcuse me,â Minnie spoke up, âIâŚknow this is ainât gonna be well-received.. but maybe we should split the trial in half, part of it ta talk âbout thâ murder, anâ half to talk âbout thâ one behind all this. I know, I donât like it either, Asa-san was a sweetheart anâ I think they deserve much better, but I also donât think that jusâ findinâ thâ murdererâs gonna be good ânough for long, âspecially cause weâre runninâ out of folks,â
âBut Iâll try anâ help on thâ murder part, but even this ainât gonna be great. CauseâŚI think Asa-san maya killed themselves. IâI know itâs weird after what they said in thâ last trial, but there wasnât even a motive this round cause aâ what Tsutomu-san said. None aâ us should be dead cause no one âsides thâ mastermind would have a reason to kill, unless someone was mad at Asa-san specifically, but they were really sweet from what I gathered.â
âOk, but I got some proof too, though it jusâ points mostly to what went down anâ thâ whole suicide thing is jusâ mâ speculation. But I found a bottle of Lunesta âr whatever in the hallway near thâ theater. That older lady said that itâs for insomnia anâ she only gave it to Asa-san themself. Now, at some point, Asa-san went up to thâ projection room and probably took of their shoes by thâ window. Thâ window was then broke by someone throwinâ a chair through it, which I found in thâ theater Asa-san was found in. This is interestinâ, cause if it was someone gettinâ in a fight with Asa-san, they wouldnâta broken thâ window first, theyâd probably jusâ push âem through. The fact that their shoes were right at thâ window makes me think somethinâs up there. Anâ finally, it was Asa-sanâs neck breaking that killed âem. I checked their back, there wasnât any signs aâ bruisinâ, so they musta fallen directly on their head. LikeâŚthey jumped.â
âAnâ I donât have much on thâ whole mastermind front. âm sorry, all I have is what people told me, anâ âd rather them speak up, jusâ cause they know the full story, anâ âm sure âd get some pieces wrong,â
âOh! But thinking on it, I remember somethinâ Saki-san said. Since she ainât here, I guess Iâll go through it. Ok, so âpparently thereâs a buncha people named Takumi here, but one âa em had sex with that older lady, anâ that got her her job back. âr maybe it jusâ pissed off the mastermind. I dunno, Saki-san was cryinâ a whole bunch, it was hard to interpret what was beinâ said.â
How Many Times | Minnie | Chapter 4 Event/Body Reaction
Minnie had been aimlessly wandering the theater when a shout summoned her to the electric fences. Though she had been worried that the shout echoed from Tsutomuâs lips and she hadnât been there to protect them, it appeared that it was the violinist that had crumpled to the floor. Minnieâs heart began to race, but at Daisyâs proclamation, it appeared she was still alive.
Calm down, itâs all good, sheâs ok. If Saki died, then Daisy would be in deep trouble, she would be trusted in keeping her alive. For now, she had to focus on what was happening, stay calm, assess the situation and see who would react.
Maybe she had done this on purpose?
Far later, they were all called to action at the proclamation of a body. ButâŚwhy was there a body at all? There was no motive, the mole had outed themselves and thereâs no way that anyone couldâve gotten to them. But it appears there was other prey in this theater.Â
Minnie immediately felt terrible upon seeing Asaâs corpse. Was it because she knew the pain of knowing someone who was killed, or was it because she thought the only person worth killing at the moment would be Tsutomu, but she was almost glad to see Asa was killed instead of someone she legitimately knew.
Yes, she was glad to know poor, innocent, always kind Asa who had to worry that their family was outside being slaughtered on their behalf. What had this place made her?

also i realized i need to rp with you nerds more. i donât think iâm gonna take any more threads for motive time, but if thereâs another chapter, hmu, especially if we havenât rped or have rped very little together o:
The news was a shock to most, but it barely moved some. Sakiâs expression didnât change from the time the motive was announced to her current action. Silently but swiftly, despite her wince of pain, she moved in front of Tsutomu, whipped around and stared at everyone. She met eyes with everyone looking towards Tsutomu⌠challenging them.
âIf you even think about hurting Tsutomu-niisan, youâll have to face me. Tsutomu-niisan is no threat. Donât even dare think about it!â
Her expression was powerful, and her arms spread out in front of Tsutomu, proving her point. She would protect Tsutomu. However she was faced with a certain superheroâŚ
Akira herself had reacted with shock to Tsutomuâs announcement, but it disappeared quickly. She didnât know what to think at first, her gaze never leaving the Florist. Sakiâs brave display of protection thoughâŚit spurned her into action. Breaking apart from the crowd, she took a few steps closer, approaching the tiny violinist. At first, her expression was that of seriousness.
Now Playing: Courage
Before it turned into a smile. Taking her place alongside Saki, Akira turned around and face the rest, spreading her arms out wide. To the side of Akira, there was a soft mutter of âAkira-neesanâŚâ from Saki. She was staring at Akira before she looked back to the others. The Superheroâs voice rang out loudly, filled with passion.
âI wonât let anyone hurt Tsutomu either. Youâll have to break through both me and Saki-imouto. Tsutomu has been nothing but trustworthy and kind. Instead, we can use this fact to help ourselves learn more about this place! They are a true friend, that I can assure you all of.â
There was just a moment of silence. The only sound was breathing, but that was mostly Akira after her passionate speech. Thanks Akira. Saki glanced behind her to Tsutomu and then to everyone else. She felt her hands shake, and she was tearing up - here comes the tears, lord save us. But Akira wasnât the only one who seemed to join Saki. In fact, the Charity Worker was joining the two as well. Or at least whoever was inhabiting her body at the moment. She looked to the florist with glassy eyes before a smile cracked slowly across her face, she nodded to the other two.
âIâll protect Tsutomu-san too. Anyone who wants ta hurt someone who gave up their security on their own will ta save someone else is a chicken s***. Anâ âll hurt em if they try anythinâ,â
Itâs not like she was really the most capable of this, being a tiny little ball of fluff in a giraffe sweater. The moment she was beside the superhero and violinist, joining on the other side of Saki, the violinist dropped her arms. She was trying to wipe her tears. Looks like the girl is somehow always in tears. She turned on her heels and her arms wrapped around Tsutomu.
âWeâre here, Tsutomu-niisan. Akira-neesan and Minnie-san⌠Weâre here.â
Itâs a relief to see she isnât hurt, but they still have no idea whatâs going on. Is someone injured? Did she find a body? Did-
The paper is forced into their hands and they accept it automatically, blinking down at it in confusion⌠that lasts for less than a few seconds. Someone else might have mistaken it, briefly, for a love confession, but they recognize it instantly. How could they not, with the amount of times theyâve seen it, poured over it, re-read it over and over the way theyâre doing now almost automatically. Like a pavlovian reaction to seeing it, their eyes scan over the faded lettering, memory easily supplying the missing pieces that have become illegible over time.
âTh-this isâŚâ
Tsutomu forces themself to fold the letter again, though instead of setting it aside or tucking it in a pocket they just hold it against their chest as they look back at Minnie finally, tears filling their eyes.
âHow did you get thisâŚ? I⌠I thought it was⌠thank you.â
Seeing Tsutomu tearing up forces tears to her own eyes, even though she promised herself she wouldnât cry. There was nothing for her to be upset about, Tsutomu had finally gotten back the letter that meant so much to them, this was a happy thought. Perhaps the level of circumstance would be enough to reassure them that abandoning their persona as Hana was good.
âI got it from the capsule machine, actually. Dunno what it was doinâ there. But I got it witâ a coin I didnât even know I had,â
âTo get the same letter ya talked âbout jusâ yesterday witâ a random coin doesnât seem jusâ lucky to me. I think ya may have a guardian angel, Tsutomu-san...â
Did Minnie even believe in religion? Probably not, but there was no denying this was just a string of odd occurrences.Â
Tsutomu canât hear her thoughts, but they can see her tears, and they hold her a little closer as if they can protect her from the world with just a hug.
The two friends end up just cuddling forever. Ok not forever, but for another hour or so, before bidding each other a fond farewell for the day.
It feels now more than ever like Minnie is their best friend.

RenĂŠe wasnât less happy, she had just been thinking. Fighting over territory and mates was natural animal behavior, and it usually didnât even result in serious injuryâ she was fine with that. Bring up the other kind of animal fighting, though, and youâd probably make her cry. But her thoughtful expression soon smoothed easily back into a bright smile.
âOf course! Theyâre all folded in a stack on the floor. I didnât really have room to hang everything.â
RenĂŠeâs pants options were more colorful than most, though there were several pairs of simple dark jeans to choose from, of both the normal and skinny variety.
And there came the cheerful version of Renee. It was odd, but as long as Minnie and Renee had been roommates, she didnât think she had ever seen her smile nearly as much as she was smiling right then. It was nice to see that.
At Reneeâs description of where the pants were, Minnie scooped up a standard pair of jeans and held them up for length comparison. Not perfect, but itâd work. Though the other styles of jeans did look like lots of fun to wear, maybe it wouldnât be a good idea to wear them with a mustard-yellow sweater.
Tsutomu doesnât mind another hug- theyâre totally fine with lots of hugging. Hugs are nice, especially when theyâre from friends. They fold their arms around Minnieâs slight form, holding her closely though still loosely enough so she can easily pull away when she chooses.
âOf course I accept you, Minnie-san. I donât need you to be Minerva. I prefer you. And you donât need a talent or a title to be special. â
With Minerva, everything had felt⌠not bad, but impersonal, like theyâd said before. She was so focused on being kind to everyone and being the figure sheâd made herself into that everything had felt sort of scripted. With Minnie⌠it feels more like she really sees them, like her kindness and affection is more genuine because sheâs not doing it just because itâs what her job or talent requires.
âYouâre welcome, Minnie. And thank you⌠for accepting me too.âÂ
Hearing these words from Tsutomu was...so personal to her. Despite everything, despite being a tiny little girl who couldnât do anything, Tsutomu liked her. Not only that, but they preferred her to Minerva. Despite how hard she fought against it, she couldnât help but tear up a bit.Â
âYeâll never amount ta anythinâ ya little b****!â the voices had told her in her fever induced delusions. Who cares what she amounted to, she had a friend that cared for her, the real her, and thatâs all that mattered.
