The Tiger, huh? Well, the nickname certainly suited him, what with his feline-like features. He never heard either names beforehand, but that was of little matter now, given that they got acquainted now. Always good to meet new people, right?

At least it wouldnāt surprise him and even if his talent didnāt involve them - he still seemed to like cats and the likes and thatās definitely a plus pointfor him. What can Orpheus say? He was also quite fond of these adorable animals.
But back to the more pressing matters at hand. The fantasy novelist crossed his arms before his chest, furrowing his eyebrows down. Alright, what could he remember before waking up here?
āThere are a few possibilities at hand, but quite frankly, we have too less to go by. All I remember is that weāve been called to the school gym and there, the school director said something about... a quarantine? Though Iām not sure whenever it was to keep something in or out.ā
āThis could mean that weāve been knocked out by Hopeās Peak itself, though that would be rather odd, to say the least. Why would they resort to such methods against their own students? Thus, itās also possible that a third party might have gotten involved in this all somehow. Although it would be unnerving, I wouldnāt exclude a kidnapping at all.ā
With a sigh, he let his hand slip down from his neck.

Toru hadnāt had any luck just standing around, doing absolutely nothing- and watching people talk had gotten the gears in his head turning. If he was going to do something, he might as well get it done. And that something to get done wouldā¦ beā¦ interaction. (Truly, a fearsome foe- interactionā¦) Who knew what the outcome would be?
Thus did he approach, pawsā er, feet, padding along as he wentā¦ Until he was about a foot and a half away. Maybe two feet. He wasnāt a good judge of distance.
Thanks to not paying as much attention to his surroundings as he should have, Orpheus was startled upon hearing a voice near him. Being snapped out of his thoughts and worries, the fantasy novelist turned his head to his side, so he could see who had just uttered these words.
The student standing before him was definitely a sight to behold. He had seen them on the campus, but... only from afar. Although they were smaller than him, Orpheus had no doubt in his mind that they could easily throw him across the room if they desired so. The eyepatch is also peculiar and overall, they just look like an interesting person from their looks alone.
āAh, hello. This door is... alright, I guess? Sadly, we canāt seem to open it up from within, so all we can do now is to wait for something to happen.ā
He didnāt even ask anything, but thanks for stating the obvious.
Adjusting his glasses subcounsciously, Orpheus offered him a friendly smile, bowing slightly as he introduced himself.

Slowly regaining his consciousness, Orpheus let out a quiet groan as he grabbed his head with one hand. Feeling rather disorientated, the fantasy novelist opened his eyes instinctively - only to stare into a blurry world.
Immediately closing his eyes again, Orpheus rolled onto his back and began to massage his scalp in a slow, circular movement. While one hand was preoccupied with this precise task, the other started to feel around him. Luckily for him, it took only a few seconds before he felt a familiar object in his hand. Picking it up, he put it onto the bridge of his nose and attempted to open his eyes one more time.
This time, the world around him was clear and sharp.
Thank god.
A relieved sigh escaped his mouth as he finally managed to sit up, now finally able to take first notes of his current situation. First of all, he had been lying on the floor. Second, this was definitely not the school gym anymore. Third, there were other people around him - to be more precise, students of Hopeās Peak. He can remember seeing most of them at the campus, but he wasnāt particularly close to anyone here as far as he was aware-
That thought alone made him jump to another one and almost instantly, Orpheus took another look around, as if he was searching for somethingā¦ or someone.
The furrowed eyebrows of his indicated that he hadnāt found what he was looking for. Instead, his facial expression took a worried note.
Just as Orpheus finally got up from the floor and dusted himself off from any dirt that got to his clothes, they were greeted by an unfamiliar voice whoā¦ seemed to have an affinity for making cat puns. Although he liked cats and could appreciate well-placed puns, these werenāt actually that great. Then again, he might be feeling this way because he found himself in a situation where he was completely clueless and that didnāt sit well with him.
Although Orpheus took note that some people had been by the doors, he still walked up to one of them himself, trying to figure out how to get them open.
Though it was obvious that there really was no way for them to get them open in any way.

The blonde boy seemed to be in deep thoughts, his arms crossed before his chest as he stared down at the ground. It didnāt seem like as if he was the most attentive to his surroundings right now.

Orpheus speaks french, german and japanese fluently! Heās also good in english as well, but not as fluent as in the other three languages!
His favorite animals are definitely cats! Thatās why he also has two cats as pets, named Tenebrae and Luna!
When youāre a fan of his works, youāre gonna know that in each of his works, a four-leaf clover will appear in some way. It can be only a mere mention, a recurring theme, a drawing or even something important to a character/the plot. Itās unknown why itās a thing, though.

Itās actually likely that youāve at least heard his name somewhere! Even though his first book Origin became a bestseller as well, heās more known for his Memories of a soul trilogy. The books were selling like hot cakes and there were also news segments that covered the hype and whanot. As for his own person - he remained anonymous until entering highschool, but even then, he still kept his real name a secret and was rarely giving any interviews. Seriously, finding a picture of him would be hard.
During HPA
You could call him a mystery - it sounds edgier than it actually is, though. Sure, he doesnāt talk about his own person all that much, but itās not like as if heās a silent loner. Orpheus is reserved, but he doesnāt mind chatting with other people. If you had talked to him, you would definitely see a polite, young boy in front of you. After that, though, he will need some time alone to recharge his energies and he does that usually by taking a walk or read/write something in a secluded area. It isnāt unnatural for him to be inside the library or outside at the courtyard. So yeah, he only really talked to his classmates and maybe some people outside of it, but other than that? He doesnāt really approach others?
During class, heās attentive and quiet, but will answer questions if asked. Overall, he has really good academics.
