The sad, tiny figure of the dogsitter is hung from one of the posts around her bed, eyes wide behind her glasses and face tear-stained. There’s quite a lot of blood that looks like it has run down her left side, and there are obvious streaks of it on the floor as well. Hers was not a peaceful death.

The tears, as understandable as they were, were starting to grind on Daisy’s nerves. Usually she was the bawling mess in need of comfort, and suddenly understood why people seemed bothered by that.

"I- Ok, I’m, like, gonna try to level with you here. That’s awful, and wasn’t nice of her, but you should try to look on the bright side! When you get out of here and tell your story, no doubt she’ll be full of regret, and she’ll come crawling back to you, apologizing! So you’ll get your friend back, don’t worry! Maybe you’ll have to give her the silent treatment, let her wallow at your feet for a bit… But forgive her eventually, and everything will be sunshine and rainbows again!"

Looks like Daisy isn’t above being a bit of a manipulative bitch to get her ways, and is trying to instruct the dogsitter to do the same. Run, Yuuna, run.

Yuuna just stared at her, not completely sure how to respond to that. What the actual fuck, Daisy? What the actual fuck?

"Aw, sugar, I’m sure she doesn’t hate you. One fight doesn’t usually wreck friendships, I’m sure she wants to make up just as bad as you do. What did you fight about?"

Daisy smiled next, even if it seemed a bit out of place.

"Besides, I’m your friend, right? So now you have two!"

Yuuna was silent for a second, obviously quite upset about whatever it was that had happened between her and her friend. She highly doubted that the friendship could be fixed even if she did get out of here and she highly doubted that as well.

"She-...she asked me out but I said no...I was...well I was scared...but then she started yelling at me and- and she-..."

Yuuna didn't even seem capable of finishing the story, instead devolving into tears again. Really she had only been able to tell her this much because they were friends and friends told each other things they didn't really tell other people.

Daisy, who was starting to drift off again now the crying had stopped, didn’t see Yuuna’s sadness, and just kept talking.

"I’ve only got one friend, really. I mean, my sisters are my friends, sort of, but they’re siblings, so it’s hard to be their friend sometimes. Plus, one of them doesn’t like me so much anymore, but that’s a boring story. What about you, then, do you have a lot of friends?"

"I only really had one...I mean I knew a lot of people but I wouldn't really consider any of them friends..."

She just kept growing sadder as she thought about it, hesitating for a second before actually explaining a little more.

"We had a big fight though...I'm pretty sure she hates me now..."

"I’m sure they miss you too, but don’t be too sad, okay? I’m sure we’ll find whoever’s behind this soon, and we’ll get to leave and see all our families again!"

Deciding that maybe it was best to get off the topic that seemed to make Yuuna sad, Daisy switched it over to another one.

"What about your friends? I bet they’ll be really happy to see you again! Your whole school will probably want to be your bestie after this!"

That only seemed to make Yuuna sadder though, the girl seeming to deflate at the mention of friends. She'd actually been trying not to think of her.

"Oh, uh, yeah, I'm sure."

"No problem… Cute girls shouldn’t cry, right? There’s so much to be happy about."

Not in here, exactly, but there were things on the outside that mattered. Her parents, her sisters, Nina… Daisy wanted to see them all again.

"Your siblings must miss you… So make sure you stay alive, okay? I can hardly imagine how happy they’ll be to see you!"

Now she felt even worse, imagine how worried her mom and siblings must be about her right now, did they have any idea where she was? She'd been so wrapped up in her grief that she hadn't even really thought of what was going on outside here.

"I miss them so much..."

She sniffed, trying to keep herself from devolving into tears again.
