Eilidh wasn’t expecting anyone to be at her door today, most people were either at work or keeping inside away from the cold, but what she certainly didn’t expect was someone who lived thousands of miles away on the doorstep. After a single glance at the shivering woman, Eilidh squealed in excitement and pulled Flutura into a tight hug. It wasn’t long before she began to feel the bite of the cold air and let go, a million questions now racing through her mind, “Oh my god you’re… oh come in come in! You’ll be glad to hear I’ve got the fire on.”

The Sidekick

The friends and helpers of the main hero. They can be almost any type of hero playing a secondary role, a normal character observing the action, or be used as comic relief -- sometimes all three. Typically they are a foil to the hero, and this is often underscored by their dramatically different appearance. You like to be the friend of everyone around you and help out others whenever you can. You often hold the role of someone's self control and you can be very supportive when you have to be. You're a bright, ray of sunshine in your friends life and they love having you around!

      Gilbert sighed, staring at the body of a man who lay dead in an alley. Judging from the whispers coming from the crowd behind him, there seemed to be a mixed reaction to this death ; some people sounded plain horrified and others sneered ‘ Good Riddance ’ among other, less polite things. Filing those tidbits of conversation away in his memory for now, he gave a sigh and turned his attention to the woman next to him.

She had got someone - paid someone - to get rid of the body, to hide it, whatever. The plan was that the man, a very influential man with lots of wealth, would have ‘disappeared’ and never be found again. The crowd had parted for her, to allow her to wheel some supplies through the town square, but had stayed compact enough to block her vision of the alleyway. It was convenient, seeing as she was trying to avoid staring into it, trying to ignore her desperation to see if the job had been cleaned up.

Though, now she knew that it hadn’t, and she now had the task of chasing up her money.

Listen. I don’t know why everyone has to act like this. I’m the only idiot that has to live with me. Do you have something to plug this hole with? I just don’t heal like I used to.

[ He does not look convinced so he crosses his arms over his chest. ] 

So you only want me to fill up your tank? You don’t want me to take you on a shopping spree or go to like, a spa or something? I want to do something for you!

[She sighs, and leans back in her seat.]

I - Yes. It’s practical, it’s what I need. I don’t know what else to ask you for! I feel like whatever I ask is greedy or something.

….Okay. Only because this is your week. [ sad face ] Is there anything you want me to get for you? Like, anything at all. You better say yes ‘cause I want to spoil you.

[Her mind reels off a shopping list, and she has to refrain herself from calling it out loud.]
